Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justin Magnum (ranked 6120 p4p, 262 weight class) and Chuck Van Damme (ranked 24009 p4p, 345 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Van Damme's choice of entrance music: Jeet Kune Do Sensei. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Van Damme!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damme tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Magnum manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little feinted left hand from Magnum on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Magnum throws a body kick that misses.
Magnum connects with a leg kick. Van Damme looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Magnum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick misses from Magnum.
Justin Magnum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Damme fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Magnum is out of range.
Magnum moves out of range of the body kick.
Magnum appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
A shot to the liver by Magnum. Beautiful body shot.

Van Damme pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Magnum closes the distance and clinches.

Magnum breaks from the clinch.

Magnum moves into the clinch.

Magnum breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Van Damme misses with a hook

and Magnum counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Magnum.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Magnum manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Van Damme misses the target.
Van Damme gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Damme looks for the body kick but Magnum saw that one coming.
Magnum lands a jab to Van Damme's midsection.
Van Damme tries to clinch up but Magnum circles away and keeps his distance.
A right-left combo lands from Magnum.
Van Damme looks to throw a body kick
and Magnum counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Magnum lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Magnum scores with a nice head shot.
Magnum misses with a head kick.
Van Damme misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Damme looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Magnum's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Magnum duly obliges.

Magnum lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Van Damme is still on wobbly legs! Can Magnum finish him?
Magnum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Damme throws a sloppy head kick and Magnum moves out of range easily.
Van Damme seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Magnum shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Van Damme is backing up but Magnum catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Van Damme covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Magnum Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Magnum!
A very excited looking Justin Magnum rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
The defeated Chuck Van Damme had this to say: 's*ck my d*ck!'.
