Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bazar Al Jhit (ranked 772 p4p, 85 weight class) and Ralphie Harrell (ranked 944 p4p, 114 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Al Jhit might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to What May Safely Be Written. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bazar Al Jhit!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ralphie Harrell!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrell stuffs the takedown.

Al Jhit moves into range and clinches up with Harrell.
Al Jhit lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Harrell backwards.
Al Jhit scores with a nice hook to the head.
Al Jhit makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Al Jhit scores with a shot to the side of Harrell's head.
Al Jhit lands a body shot in the clinch.
Al Jhit blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Al Jhit lands a hook that snaps the head of Harrell backwards.

Al Jhit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Harrell fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Al Jhit to the ground. Harrell is now in Al Jhit's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harrell won't allow Al Jhit to sweep him here.
Harrell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Al Jhit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Harrell's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Harrell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Al Jhit wants to sweep here but Harrell controlling him for the moment.

Harrell is fighting to break Al Jhit's control of his arms but Al Jhit is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Al Jhit seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Harrell postures up in Al Jhit's guard and throws a big left but Al Jhit blocks it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Harrell keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Al Jhit's head.

Harrell is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Al Jhit can't keep his opponent in guard - Harrell advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Al Jhit has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harrell is working away from the top position though.

Harrell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Harrell has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Nonstop Works. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Harrell thows an elbow strike that misses. Al Jhit gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Harrell doesn't seem too bothered but Al Jhit quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Harrell is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Harrell really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Bazar Al Jhit!
