Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carmelo Anthony (ranked 260 p4p, 40 weight class) and Torcadall Sailcirc (ranked 1015 p4p, 143 weight class). Torcadall Sailcirc has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony loads up on a big right hand but Sailcirc slips the punch.
Anthony thows a body kick. Sailcirc tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Sailcirc keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Anthony throws a shot from downtown. Sailcirc moves away and avoids it.
Anthony scores with a nice right hand.
Sailcirc takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Sailcirc tries to free his leg and advance position but Anthony is retaining full guard.
Sailcirc sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anthony's guard.

Sailcirc is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anthony doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sailcirc.

Sailcirc is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Anthony is just riding it out for now. Sailcirc eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sailcirc is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sailcirc uses his free foot to push down on Anthony's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Anthony.
Anthony knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sailcirc on the ground.

Sailcirc goes for an armbar but Anthony turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Anthony.

Sailcirc tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Sailcirc escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anthony gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sailcirc is looking for a triangle but Anthony pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that Carmelo Anthony will probably get the nod.

Sailcirc is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Anthony still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Anthony has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Sailcirc felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Sailcirc has an Americana. Anthony didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sailcirc is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sailcirc hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Torcadall Sailcirc really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Pit Bull Development logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
