Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gusarov Koreshkov (ranked 7243 p4p, 476 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 7038 p4p, 465 weight class). Pinochet has chosen I Need a Pinochet as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinochet moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've been hearing reports that Koreshkov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Pinochet cracks Koreshkov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Koreshkov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Koreshkov looks to land a combination but Pinochet avoids it well.
Koreshkov looks to land a left hand but Pinochet moved out of range nicely.

Pinochet fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Koreshkov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Koreshkov throws a hook to the side of Pinochet's head but Pinochet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Koreshkov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Koreshkov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Pinochet lands a nice hook to Koreshkov's body. Koreshkov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Koreshkov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Pinochet sends Koreshkov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pinochet is motioning to the referee to let Koreshkov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Koreshkov is rocked!

Pinochet cracks the inside of Koreshkov's front leg.
Oh Koreshkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pinochet scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Koreshkov seems to have got his legs back now.

Pinochet drops Koreshkov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Koreshkov looks back up at him and smiles so Pinochet waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Koreshkov glances at the clock... BAM! Pinochet nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Koreshkov crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Koreshkov is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Augusto Pinochet!
A very excited looking Augusto Pinochet rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
