Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Ubereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alen Zalac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalac has chosen No*t Afraid as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ubereem tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zalac swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ubereem throws a head kick that half lands.

Zalac fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ubereem tries to clinch there but Zalac circles away.

Ubereem rushes Zalac and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ubereem using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Zalac has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ubereem closes the distance and pushes Zalac back into the cage.
Zalac is trying to drag Ubereem to the mat but Ubereem just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Alistair Ubereem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alen Zalac.

Zalac dives in and grabs Ubereem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ubereem pushes down on Zalac's head and hops out.

Ubereem moves in looking to clinch but Zalac pushes him off.

Ubereem rushes Zalac and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Zalac jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ubereem walks away with a smile on his face. Zalac gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ubereem moves into the clinch successfully.
Zalac is working for takedown but Ubereem is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ubereem lands a big knee! That's hurt Zalac! Oh, he's all over the place! Ubereem lands another knee that sends Zalac to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Higgins shoots in for a double leg but Co Crop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Higgins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Co Crop utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Co Crop is looking to stand up but Higgins isn't so interested in that idea.

Co Crop scores with a head kick. Higgins tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Higgins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Co Crop as he avoids it easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Higgins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Higgins or perhaps it was just good defense by Co Crop which made him look bad.

Higgins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Co Crop is fending him off so far but Higgins persists. Nope, Co Crop circles away and we're back to standing.
Co Crop throws a right hand that Higgins ducks under and follows up with a left that Higgins also avoids with ease.
Higgins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Co Crop sprawls well. Co Crop wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Higgins gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that John Higgins will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A left and a right from Co Crop both land. Nice combination.

It looks like John Higgins has been cut.
Co Crop smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Higgins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Co Crop dips to his left and cracks Higgins with an uppercut!
Look low, kick high! Co Crop uses the oldest trick in the book to send Higgins tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Co Crop is absolutely delighted - when Higgins wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
