The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jin fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Darko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanches's waist but Sanches gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lester off to one side.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lester fails with the takedown.
Lester shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanches manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lester's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moe Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Lester with that takedown attempt.
Lester is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Moe Lester has been cut.

Sanches throws a combination. Lester tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lester. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lester takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Sanches works over Lester's head and body with a nice combination.
Lester tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Sanches manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sanches leaves Lester with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sanches stuns Lester with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lester is breathing heavily.
Sanches scores with a jab to the body.
Sanches connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sanches lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lester circles away quickly and effectively.
Lester takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Sanches lands a nice looking body shot.
Sanches fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Moe Lester's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Sanches throws a series of strikes that have Lester backpedaling.
A punch lands to the side of Lester 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanches throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lester.
Sanches scores with a decent looking hook.

Jeez, Moe Lester's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Lester looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sanches throws a series of punches but Lester moves out of range.
Lester takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Moe Lester's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
