Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bubba Bistro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Faulkner! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Faulkner does it's job there. Faulkner misses with a few strikes there.
Bistro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Faulkner's sensitive parts. Faulkner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bistro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bistro is looking to reverse the position. Faulkner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faulkner is trying to get an arm triangle but Bistro is defending well. Bistro managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Faulkner.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bistro is trying to get back to his feet. Bistro regains half guard, as Faulkner was trying to land strikes. Faulkner is just content to waste time from the top position. Bistro takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bistro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bistro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Faulkner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bistro works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bistro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Faulkner looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Randy Faulkner hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Faulkner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Faulkner misses with a body shot.

Bistro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Faulkner - the referee stops the clock and Bistro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Faulkner. Bistro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bistro misses with a leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bistro, right into the meat.

Kreegans is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Connely lands a few punches from side control.

Connely is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kreegans is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Connely has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kreegans tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Connely creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Connely is chipping away with strikes.
Connely scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kreegans is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Connely can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Humahuta is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Russo's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Humahuta takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That was a close fourth round but I would say that David Hollywood will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hollywood steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Voltage. That one must have hurt. A punch lands to the side of Hollywood 's head but he takes it in his stride. Hollywood misses with a straight right. Hollywood stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Voltage. Voltage throws a leg kick but Hollywood checks it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Voltage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. No joy there for Voltage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
