The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinte has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kinte there as he acknowledges the shot.
No luck for Kinte with that takedown attempt.
Kinte tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Austin swivels and escapes.
Kinte shoots in for a takedown but Austin shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kunta Kinte. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Austin is looking to chop away at Kinte's legs.
Kinte shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Austin as he avoids it easily.
A left and a right from Austin both land. Nice combination.

Steve Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Austin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kinte in his tracks.
Kinte stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Austin.

Kinte seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Austin shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kinte is backing up but Austin catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kinte covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Austin Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
