Maniac looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mac lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Maniac backs up against the cage.
Maniac shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Maniac was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mac wants to control but Maniac is having none of it. Maniac is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Maniac extends the arm and Mac is forced to tap!

Black works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Campbell is looking for a sweep. Black controls the position. Black working the ground and pound. Black working the head with strikes. Black is working Campbell over with some ground and pound from side control. Campbell dodges the ground and pound from Black. Campbell manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Black lands strikes from half guard. Black is thwarting Campbell's attempts to control the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arbenson darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Patrick takes one on the button. Arbenson digs a good hook to Patrick's body.
Arbenson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Patrick. Patrick fails with a takedown attempt. Arbenson stuffs the takedown attempt from Patrick. Patrick gets slowly back to his feet. Arbenson keeps the fight on the outside. Patrick stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Arbenson. Arbenson throws a good cross that connects.
The fight stays on the outside here - Patrick looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A nice leg kick lands there from Arbenson.

Arbenson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Arbenson looks to have wriggled free... That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A punch combination from Headden misses. Tsung lands the left hand. Headden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tsung throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Headden's waist but Headden gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tsung off to one side. Steve Headden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shang Tsung. Tsung moves in looking to clinch but Headden pushes him off. Headden throws a nice looking combination but Tsung bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tsung loads up on a big right hand but Headden slips the punch. Headden blocks a jab. Tsung closes this distance looking for a takedown but Headden circles away. Tsung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Headden waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Tsung. Headden will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Headden gets caught flat footed, as Tsung shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tsung is breathing heavily. Headden has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tsung can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Headden looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Tsung is defending well. Headden quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Tsung has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Headden celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Creed's corner calls for a 1-2. Creed obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Creed lands with a cross. Creed misses with a straight right. Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Creed lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A decent looking cross lands there for Creed.
