The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim staying out of range there. Maxwell tests Jim's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Slim Jim has been cut. Maxwell looks to score with a jab to the body but Jim is just out of range. Maxwell lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jim - he's out on his feet here! Maxwell follows up with another monster hook that separates Jim from consciousness! Jim falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Maxwell stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Benjamin Liu has been cut. Jackson thows a body shot but no joy. Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Liu is rocked! Jackson throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reis darts in and clinches Kinte up against the ropes. Reis tries to throw a body punch but Kinte avoids it by throwing Reis back against the cage. Reis wants the takedown. Kinte is fighting it off but Reis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kinte's guard against the ropes. Kinte being controlled here, momentarily. Reis trying to control the position from guard on top but Kinte is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kinte can't keep his opponent in guard - Reis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Reis wants to pass the guard but Kinte is defending well. Reis uses his free foot to push down on Kinte's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kinte. Reis scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kinte really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Kinte keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Reis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kinte is looking to escape. Kinte is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kinte drops back looking for a leg! Reis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reis manages to kick Kinte off! Kinte jumps back into Reis's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reis is on top in guard.

Reis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reis looking to pass the guard. Excellent takedown into side control there by Reis. Kinte takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kinte avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Reis. Reis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kinte, who protects the arm well. Kinte gets back to half guard. Reis wants to free his trapped foot but Kinte is holding on for dear life with his legs. Reis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reis looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reis tries to pass to full mount but Kinte defends it. Kinte trying to control but Reis postures up.
Kinte is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Reis pulls his head out easily. Kinte might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Reis swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kinte is now in Reis's guard. A big mistake from Reis there, giving up the dominant position! Kinte advances to half guard. Kinte is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Reis is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Fabio Lima has been cut. Lima wants to clinch up but Varsi keeps it at a distance. Lima is still on wobbly legs! Can Varsi finish him? Lima tries to clinch there but Varsi circles away.
Varsi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lima has closed the distance and engaged Varsi in a clinch.
Lima seems to have recovered his senses. Varsi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lima using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Varsi has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Varsi digs a right hand underneath Lima's ribcage. Lima let out a lung full of air as it connected. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Varsi. A nice left hand lands by Varsi.
Varsi lands a body punch in the clinch. Varsi lands a shoulder strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lima tries to land knees in the clinch but Varsi avoids the damage to the body. Varsi breaks from the clinch.
Varsi scores with a hook to the body. Lima takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lima looks gassed! Varsi throws a series of punches but Lima moves out of range. Lima misses with a hook. Varsi tries to bum rush Lima with a series of wild strikes but Lima uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lima walks into a straight right hand from Varsi. Varsi misses with a two punch combination.
Varsi looks to land a combination but Lima avoids it well. Varsi drops Lima with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lima looks back up at him and smiles so Varsi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Varsi connects with a nice cross there... Lima is looking wobbly and Varsi recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lima to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Varsi jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!

That did some damage!

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noriyuki Nayoui! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Geistman walks into a jab. Geistman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A jab from Nayoui misses. Geistman takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nayoui avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown by Geistman or perhaps it was just good defense by Nayoui which made him look bad. Nayoui scores with a nice head shot. Nayoui dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nayoui jabs Geistman right on the nose. Geistman blinks but takes it well. Nayoui throws an uppercut from half a mile away. And that's the end of the fight! George Activin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Activin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
