The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henning closes the distance and clinches. Beckford pulls guard effortlessly. Beckford trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Beckford looking to hit a scissor sweep but Henning is one step ahead there. Henning has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beckford is proving hard to escape from. Beckford lands some strikes from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beckford throws a couple of heel strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Troy loads up on a big right hand but Moraes slips the punch. No luck for Moraes with that takedown attempt. Troy missing with a left hand there. Moraes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Moraes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Troy is fending him off so far but Moraes persists. Nope, Troy circles away and we're back to standing. Moraes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Moraes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moraes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Troy tries to avoid it but Moraes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Troy to the ground. Troy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Moraes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Moraes slips under a jab. Moraes fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Moraes lands with a thumping leg kick.
Troy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Moraes. Troy gets caught flat footed, as Moraes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Troy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Troy is trying to keep Moraes in close.

Arteta is looking to improve his position but star isn't that keen on the idea. star jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Arteta manages to avoid the submission attempt. Arteta wants to get back to his feet.

Thibault tries to get to full guard but Tweet has control of the leg. Ground and pound from Tweet. Tweet seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
