0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick James! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anus scores with a takedown into James's guard. James looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Anus stands up over James, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet. Anus wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James keeping full guard, as Anus tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anus thows a big elbow that misses. Anus is looking to work some ground and pound but James has wrist control. James striking off his back but it's not causing Anus any problems. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! James is trying to control the position from the bottom.
James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anus scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Anus stopping the sweep attempt from James. Anus landing some decent shots from guard. Anus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

James is rocked! Anus is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, James is hurt! He's hurt bad - Anus fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save James from any more punishment! Congratulations to Anus! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries for a takedown but Petruzelli sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there. Petruzelli actively working from the bottom here. Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Petruzelli does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Petruzelli's head. Petruzelli trying to control but Silva postures up.
Silva is looking to advance position but Petruzelli won't allow it. Silva moves into full mount! Petruzelli won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Silva throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Petruzelli is trying desperately to improve position. Petruzelli looks gassed! Silva lands a big elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petruzelli tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silva shoots in for a double leg but Petruzelli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Petruzelli is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Petruzelli has escaped the position, nice work there. Silva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Petruzelli has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silva but great work by Petruzelli. Petruzelli tries to move into full mount but can't pass Silva's legs. Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Petruzelli's best efforts. Silva gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Petruzelli is fighting to break Silva's control of his arms but Silva is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Petruzelli won't allow Silva to sweep him here. Silva is trying to control the position but Petruzelli postures up. Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Petruzelli manages to get himself to full guard.
Anthony Petruzelli has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Petruzelli thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Silva is in close to Petruzelli's body, working some short punches and elbows. Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Petruzelli's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Vitor Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Miller drops his hands momentarily. Blue doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Miller staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Miller doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ner looking for the choke but no joy. Ner is trying to stick to Woolley's back but Woolley is turning into Ner. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ner's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Woolley. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Woolley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ner is keeping the position for now. Woolley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ner on the ground. Ner has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Woolley doesn't defend quickly enough and Ner has managed to lock this one up! Can Woolley escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ner on a fantastic submission victory.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McCranky connects with a nice short shot to Enweave's temple. McCranky sitting and controlling from the half guard. McCranky not landing any meaningful shots this time. McCranky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Enweave with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. McCranky tries to lock up and control but Enweave gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. McCranky regains half guard. Enweave keeping moving, preventing McCranky from controlling successfully. Enweave working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McCranky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Enweave is tightening it up a little... McCranky has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McCranky reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McCranky taps out! nice BJJ there by Enweave!

Fedorov closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Greco! Fedorov dives in looking to finish! Arts takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Arts throws a sloppy head kick and Cobra moves out of range easily. Arts has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Marshall Arts has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cobra measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Arts! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
