The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sumerweather's calf. Sumerweather with a nice cross. A nice combination there by Sumerweather.
Sumerweather throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head. Sumerweather blocks a head kick by Gracie.
Gracie blocks a low kick nicely. Gracie avoids the body shot from Sumerweather.
Bruno Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sumerweather. That did some damage! Sumerweather scores with a nice right hand.

Gracie takes the fight into the clinch. Sumerweather wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gracie has him pressed against the cage. Gracie tries to land knees in the clinch but Sumerweather avoids the damage to the body. Gracie keeps control of Sumerweather as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gracie fails to pull guard.

That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Gracie. Gracie throws a series of punches but Sumerweather avoids them all with ease. Donk. Sumerweather catches Gracie right on the button with a cross. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sumerweather will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sumerweather is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie. Sumerweather works the jab nicely. Nice body punch from Sumerweather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head kick by Sumerweather misses and Gracie counters with a head kick. Sumerweather connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands. Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gracie misses with a low kick.

Gracie checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Gracie misses with a looping left. Sumerweather throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sumerweather throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sumerweather connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sumerweather takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sumerweather is rocked! Sumerweather misses with a leg kick. Oh Sumerweather is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gracie tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Sumerweather to counter with a crisp jab. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gracie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sumerweather throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie. Gracie lands a nice looking body kick. Sumerweather misses with a hook. Sumerweather lands a jab to the nose. A head kick by Sumerweather misses and Gracie counters with a head kick. Gracie is looking to clinch but Sumerweather is avoiding it.
Gracie closes the distance looking to clinch and Sumerweather connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bruno Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A head kick from Gracie lands but Sumerweather takes it in his stride. Gracie throws a body kick that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Floyd Sumerweather. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sumerweather, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vito Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertit comes into the arena with Riot blaring out of the sound system. Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Born To Win. Vito Fertit had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Ryan Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Gracie is out on his feet! Fertit rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gracie is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gracie is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Safra gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bopp is working for takedown but Safra is calmly controlling the position for now. Safra changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bopp fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bopp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Safra manages to avoid it. Bopp throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bopp scores with a crisp jab that stopped Safra in his tracks. Bopp swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bopp misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Safra.
Bopp connects with a nice cross there... Safra is looking wobbly and Bopp recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Safra to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Bopp jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tevez with a nice cross. Gracie slips under a jab from Tevez. Tevez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. Gracie being controlled here, momentarily. Gracie striking off his back but it's not causing Tevez any problems. Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tevez sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tevez wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position. Tevez wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tevez wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Tevez pushes his legs off easily.
Tevez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tevez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tevez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Nefi Tevez just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Tevez lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Tevez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tevez throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie blocks a leg kick. Tevez avoids the body shot from Gracie.
Tevez throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A slapping leg kick lands for Tevez.
Tevez throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it. Gracie checks the leg kick. Gracie slips a straight right by Tevez.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie lands a jab-cross combination. Tevez throws a head kick that Gracie semi-blocks.

Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Tevez which made him look bad. Nefi Tevez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralek Gracie. Tevez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tevez is breathing heavily. Tevez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tevez tries for a takedown but Gracie circles away easily and Gracie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gracie. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nefi Tevez will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Tevez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tevez lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gracie will feel that in the morning. Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamalainen shoots in but James avoids the takedown attempt easily. James closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. James escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hamalainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. James defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hamalainen. Hamalainen prevents James from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hamalainen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as James is looking to escape. Hamalainen wants to finish this one by submission but James is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hamalainen. James is looking to improve his position but Hamalainen isn't that keen on the idea. James has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
James manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hamalainen's guard. Nice work there by James.

James controls Hamalainen momentarily but Hamalainen frees himself. James has his foot on Hamalainen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hamalainen works his way back into a safe position though. Hamalainen passes James's right leg, so he's now in half guard. James tries to get to full guard but Hamalainen has control of the leg. James looks gassed! Hamalainen is trying for a kimura here. James looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hamalainen wins by kimura!
