Carvalho had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carvalho Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.
Jackson just trying to survive but Carvalho is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Carvalho cracks Jackson with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Jackson from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Carvalho is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jackson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Carvalho has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jackson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Carvalho doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Brun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanitha Muralitharan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brun comes to the cage accompanied by "Pump Up the Jam" by The Lost Fingers. Muralitharan has chosen The Sri Lankan National Anthem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Brun stuffs the takedown attempt from Muralitharan. Muralitharan gets slowly back to his feet.
Brun throws an overhand right that lands on Muralitharan's shoulder, as Muralitharan tries to avoid the shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Brun.
Muralitharan shoots in but Brun avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Brun working the clinch nicely. Muralitharan is working for position but Brun cracks him with a big knee to the head! Muralitharan crumples up against the cage and Brun lands two more shots before the ref can save Muralitharan! This one is all over!
