0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Les Paul! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gable wants to get back to his feet. Gable tries to improve position but can't. Paul looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Paul moves into full mount! Paul misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Gable is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paul throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Gable is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Gable really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gable bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Paul has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gable can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gable is looking to work some ground and pound but Paul has wrist control. Paul has his foot on Gable's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gable works his way back into a safe position though. Gable controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Paul looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gable decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paul fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gable throws a nice looking combination but Paul bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gable tries to close the distance and clinch but Paul swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gable misses with a body kick. Paul looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Paul looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gable swivels though and keeps the full guard. Paul forces his way into half guard. Paul is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Paul looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Les Paul dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Good standup being displayed there by Gable as he connects with a hook. Gable connects with a single shot there. Gable misses with a few strikes there.
No luck for Paul with that takedown attempt. Jab by Gable. Paul misses with a takedown attempt - Gable sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Paul shoots in for a double leg but Gable sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dan Gable has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Les Paul. Paul takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Paul closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Paul lands in his opponent's guard.

Paul jumps back into Gable's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gable keeping moving, preventing Paul from controlling successfully. Paul advances to half guard. Gable is trying to control but Paul passes into side control!

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Paul hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Still wants to pass the guard but Herman is keeping the position. Still loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Still scoring with some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Herman trying to control the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kfier Asher will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Long decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Long darts in trying to clinch and Asher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Long is looking to stand up but Asher isn't so interested in that idea. Asher postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close fourth round but I would say that Kfier Asher will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The crowd cheers as Asher lands an impressive looking overhand right. Long doesn't seem phased though. Asher tries for a takedown but Long circles away easily and Long counters with a single leg into guard. Asher didn't expect that. Long wants to stand and escape but instead Asher has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Long kicks Asher off and gets to his feet. Long tries to clinch but Asher moves away and Asher counters with a shoot takedown. Long fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Asher postures up in Long's guard and throws a big left but Long blocks it. Asher landing with the ground and pound. Long has momentary wrist control but Asher slips an elbow through the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Long keeping moving, preventing Asher from controlling successfully. Asher looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Asher stops Long from standing up. Asher showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Asher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Asher lands a couple of decent looking shots. Long is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Asher is controlling him. Asher with a flurry of punches that miss. Asher looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
And that's the end of the fight! Kfier Asher showed his dominance in that final round. I think Asher has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Janjalani shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gunther but Gunther pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gunther takes a body punch but keeps moving. Janjalani shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gunther regains full guard. Nicely done. Janjalani throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gunther works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gunther is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Janjalani has gone for a leg lock! Gunther slips out almost immediately though and dives into Janjalani's guard. Janjalani has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gunther should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Janjalani has tightened it up now! Gunther should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Cheadle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drago moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Drago showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cheadle.
Cheadle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Drago looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Drago sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Drago is working for a guillotine from mount but Cheadle frees his head quite easily.

Cheadle throws a nice looking combination but Drago bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cheadle is breathing heavily. Drago feints and as Cheadle raises his hands in defense, Drago changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Drago stands up from guard. Let's bang! Cheadle throws a right hand that Drago ducks under and follows up with a left that Drago also avoids with ease. Drago showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cheadle.
Cheadle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drago. Drago gets the takedown into side control. Drago has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Drago trying to control the action but Cheadle is working from the bottom. Drago tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Drago has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Drago gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cheadle is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Drago lets go of the hold and Cheadle can pop his arm back in it's socket.
