Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goku Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Keith Jones was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Goku Dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dragon closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Dragon pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Dragon. Dragon ducks straight into an uppercut from Jones and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Dragon maanges to regain guard straight away.
It looks like Goku Dragon has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jones won't allow Dragon to sweep him here. Dragon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dragon will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dragon. Dragon shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Dragon ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Dragon scores a takedown into full mount! Dragon is breathing heavily. Jones is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dragon looking to ground and pound but Jones is blocking nicely. Jones is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Dragon tries to push Jones's head away but Jones is holding on tight. Jones regains half guard. Dragon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Dragon eventually gives up the hold. Dragon working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dragon tries to pass to full mount but Jones defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dragon misses with a head shot. Jones uses the momentum to regain guard. Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dragon manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Dragon looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. Keith Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Goku Dragon's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones cracks Dragon with an uppercut from hell and Dragon crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jones's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Dragon is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones preventing the sweep. Oh Dragon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Dragon wants to improve his position but instead Jones has moved into half guard.
Dragon seems to have got his legs back now. Dragon trying to get back to full guard but Jones takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Dragon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones controlling from the full mount. Dragon looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Dragon can't escape the position.
Dragon is working hard here to advance position. Jones has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Dragon's body.
I really don't envy Dragon right now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Keith Jones just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dragon shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Goku Dragon's cut is getting worse. Jones throws a hook to the side of Dragon's head but Dragon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dragon misses with a hook. Jones stuffs the takedown. Keith Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dragon misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dragon is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount. Dragon is trying to reverse the position but instead Jones has taken his back - oops! A lull in the action here.
You can see the frustration on Dragon's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight! Keith Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medorn throws a head kick that misses. Alves throws and low kick but Medorn moves out of range easily. Alves throws a head kick that Medorn semi-blocks.
It looks like Arnold Medorn has been cut. Medorn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Medorn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alves's guard. Alves tries to kick Medorn off but Medorn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Medorn is working for a kimura but Alves is defending it quite comfortably.

Alves lands a big uppercut and Medorn crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Medorn looks OK. Alves waves Medorn back to his feet!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verne connects with a looping right hand.
Verne gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Jules Verne has been cut. Verne scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ray in his tracks. Ray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ray tries to bum rush Verne with a series of wild strikes but Verne uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Verne takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That could spell trouble for Challa! Gracie has hold of Challa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Challa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gracie fails to take his opponent's back. Gracie goes for an armbar but Challa turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Challa. Gracie is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Challa preventing the sweep. Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Challa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie. Gracie gets back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Challa uses his free foot to push down on Gracie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gracie. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gracie. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Challa but Challa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Challa tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Challa to the ground. Challa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Challa to score with a decent uppercut. Challa lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A lazy left from Challa finds it's target. Gracie on the wrong end of a nice jab. Vitor Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Challa looks to land a right hand but Gracie moved out of range. Challa lands a right hook to the body.
Gracie misses with a looping left. Challa slips under a jab. Gracie walks into a stiff left hand from Challa. Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie walks into a left hand. Challa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Challa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Challa! Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Challa stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Challa! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Challa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to T Challa. I've got Challa winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
