Rootbeer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Samba is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rootbeer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Samba's back instead.

Samba turns into Rootbeer and is now in his guard.

Rootbeer scores with a jab. Samba acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rootbeer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Samba paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rootbeer! Submission of the night perhaps?
