Wright's entrance music is The Distillers - Drain the Blood. A fine choice. Perry comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Substitute kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch but Perry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Perry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perry has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wright's face.
Perry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
