The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Noshi crunches a lovely knee into Hands's ribcage. Hands looks gassed! Noshi scores a nice knee to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thurgood fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Terteryan shoots for a takedown but Thurgood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Terteryan fails with a takedown attempt. Terteryan tries to close the distance and clinch but Thurgood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Thurgood scores with the left hand. Terteryan knows he should have avoided that one. Thurgood scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Sarkis Terteryan has been cut. Terteryan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Thurgood counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fauteux looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Fauteux persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing. Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fauteux moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Silva with a lazy takedown attempt and Fauteux counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Silva shoots and misses and Fauteux counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fauteux wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Fauteux is proving a slippery customer.
Silva thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Silva is working an open guard so Fauteux takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silva lands in his opponent's guard. Silva stands up over Fauteux, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrovick wants to clinch up but Chakra keeps it at a distance. Chakra is looking to clinch. Chakra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Petrovick closes the distance looking to clinch and Chakra holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Petrovick looking to slow down the pace here. Petrovick using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chakra has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
