The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Timmons lands an impressive looking overhand right. Liddel doesn't seem phased though. Timmons getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Liddel shoots in for a double leg but Timmons sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Timmons keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Liddel is breathing heavily. Timmons drops Liddel with a big left hand and mounts him. Liddel is in big trouble! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Liddel throwing hammer fists to the chest of Timmons. What's that going to do exactly? Liddel swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Timmons wants to get back to his feet but Liddel is holding on tight.

Oh, that's hurt him - Liddel falls to the canvas and Timmons follows him into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Timmons wants to stand but Liddel is controlling his arm. Liddel tries to bench press Timmons off him but Timmons keeps the position. Timmons stands up and we're back to a striking position. Liddel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Timmons throws a low kick but it's checked well by Liddel. Timmons throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Liddel looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Timmons lands with a nice body punch. Liddel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Timmons scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Liddel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Timmons moves into range and connects with a jab. Timmons misses with a low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Timmons swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Timmons lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Timmons is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jayson Timmons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A lazy left from Timmons finds it's target. Timmons tries to work over Liddel's front leg with a kick but Liddel checks it. Timmons lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Timmons works over Liddel's head and body with a nice combination. Liddel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Timmons pinned against the cage. Timmons gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Timmons throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Liddel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Timmons lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Walther shoots in for a takedown but Goddard shows good takedown defense. Walther tries to land a front kick but Goddard steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Goddard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walther sprawls well initially but Goddard persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Walther is defending against the submission attempts here by Goddard.
Goddard takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Walther wants to get back to full guard. Walther trying to control from the bottom.

Goddard advances to half guard. Goddard prevents Walther from improving his position. Walther trying to hold on to Goddard's head to control him but Goddard postures up.
Goddard takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Goddard seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Walther is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Goshi throws a right hand that Salvati ducks under and follows up with a left that Salvati also avoids with ease. Salvati stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goshi. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A chopping leg kick lands by Goshi. Salvati on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Goshi. Goshi obviously looking to wear him down.

It looks like CJ Watson has been cut. Watson misses with a leg kick. Houge tries to close the distance and clinch but Watson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Watson is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
