Macieria wants to control but Gouki is having none of it. Macieria might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gouki kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Gouki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Macieria is surviving well by controlling Gouki's body position as best he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Macieria bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Macieria throws a right and a left that Gouki avoids nicely. Macieria tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Macieria throws a push kick but Gouki slaps the foot to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Macieria throws a head kick but Gouki moves out of range.

Macieria is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gouki is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Macieria to the mat. Macieria regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Gouki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Macieria is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gouki, into his guard. Gouki keeping full guard, as Macieria tries to pass. Gouki is trying to hold Macieria in close to prevent damage but Macieria has managed to pass into half guard.

Macieria wants to control the pace but Gouki is squirming around nicely. Gouki is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Macieria stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Gouki staying out of range there. A swing and a miss from Macieria. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gouki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Macieria fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gouki is out of range. Macieria looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Casimiro Macieria showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fraiser shoots in looking for a takedown. Wang tries to sprawl out of it but Fraiser keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wang lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Fraiser darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fraiser is trying to work for a kimura but Wang is defending well.
Fraiser wants to work for an arm triangle but Wang is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fraiser is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wang defends it well.

Horrible takedown by Fraiser or perhaps it was just good defense by Wang which made him look bad. Wang lands with a nice body punch. Fraiser has a takedown stuffed.

Fujita looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nord! Nord is looking to improve his position but Fujita isn't that keen on the idea. Fujita working for a guillotine from mount but Nord is in no mood to give up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nord is bucking up trying to escape but Fujita cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Nord tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fujita working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Nord looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Fujita! Submission of the night perhaps?

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position. Smith tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Smith takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.
