That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Doane crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from surr - the referee stops the clock and Doane gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says surr. Doane manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

surr manages to reverse the position and now he's in Doane's guard. Nice work there by surr.

That's time! surr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

surr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doane's waist but Doane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing surr off to one side.

surr takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Doane throws a right and a left that surr avoids nicely.
surr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Doane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
surr is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Doane is landing with some decent strikes but surr is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting surr here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Doane is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But surr has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from surr!
