Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nickolay Katorjnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Katorjnov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Remember the name - Fort Minor. Dickson has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Kharitonov tries to close the distance and clinch but Saeba swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Saeba throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Belfort connects with a good right hand that stumbles Corpuz. Corpuz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Belfort circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Corpuz to the canvas! Corpuz doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Belfort keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiltsie throws a hook to the side of Nansen's head but Nansen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wiltsie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nansen shoots for a double leg takedown but Wiltsie sprawls well. He's pushed Nansen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A slow jab from Nansen misses its intended target.
Robert Wiltsie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wiltsie throws and low kick but Nansen moves out of range easily.
Wiltsie stuns Nansen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wiltsie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nansen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Nansen tries to move to mount but Wiltsie blocks the move with his legs.
Wiltsie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wiltsie, as that shot connected.

Wiltsie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nansen tries to free his leg and advance position but Wiltsie is retaining full guard.
Wiltsie wants to sweep but no luck.

Nansen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wiltsie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wiltsie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wiltsie!

Nansen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Wiltsie blocks the strikes from Nansen.
The fighters are battling for position here. Nansen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wiltsie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nansen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wiltsie has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nansen is proving hard to escape from.

Nansen wants to sweep here but Wiltsie controlling him for the moment.

Wiltsie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wiltsie wants to get up but he can't break Nansen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Robert Wiltsie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Nansen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Nansen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wiltsie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Nansen is stalling here. Wiltsie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Nansen seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wiltsie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ewert crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sen - the referee stops the clock and Ewert gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sen. Ewert manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ewert avoids the head kick by Sen.
Sen ducks right into an uppercut from Ewert.
Sen blocks a jab.
Ewert lands a slapping body shot.

Ewert is rocked!
Sen cracks Ewert with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ewert tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ewert is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Sen!
Jin Sen retains his light heavyweight title!
