The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calavar gets caught flat footed, as Soszynski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Soszynski content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Soszynski distracts Calavar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Soszynski gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Soszynski misses with an uppercut. Calavar saw that one coming. Calavar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Calavar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Calavar throws a right and a left that both miss. Soszynski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Calavar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Soszynski misses with a low kick.

Calavar lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Soszynski ducks under a wild hook from Calavar. Calavar throws a series of punches but Soszynski moves out of range. Soszynski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Johnny Calavar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Calavar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Soszynski. Calavar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Soszynski looking to control but Calavar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Calavar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Soszynski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Calavar is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Let's see if Calavar can do anything to dispel that myth. Calavar wants to try and get back to his feet. Soszynski has control of Calavar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Calavar regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soszynski scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Calavar?

He's got his arms around Calavar's waist but Calavar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soszynski off to one side. Calavar throws a nice looking combination but Soszynski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Calavar misses with a hook. Soszynski ducked under it nicely. Calavar tries to bum rush Soszynski with a series of wild strikes but Soszynski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Calavar looks to land a combination but Soszynski avoids it well. Calavar gets caught flat footed, as Soszynski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Soszynski scoring with punches to the head and body. Soszynski connects with a couple of short punches. Calavar wants to stand up but Soszynski is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calavar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Soszynski controls the pace. Soszynski works a leg free and moves into half guard. Soszynski working Calavar over with strikes. Calavar is in trouble now - Soszynski has advanced to mount! Soszynski looking to finish Calavar with some ground and pound. This is bad for Calavar! Soszynski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Calavar defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Soszynski. Soszynski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Calavar can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Calavar is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A right-left combo lands from Carwin. Jackson misses with a combination
and Carwin counters with a straight right hand. Jackson looks to land a right hand but Carwin moved out of range. Carwin moves out of range of the strikes. Jackson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Carwin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carwin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Carwin lands with some strikes. The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Jackson gets back to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carwin scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Carwin lands with a punch from half guard. Ground and pound from Carwin. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Carwin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab. Carwin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Carwin counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at Carwin to acknowledge the strikes. Jackson throws a combination that misses and Carwin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carwin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jackson's head.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Carwin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carwin connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple. Jackson is trying to stand.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Casey Carwin has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Carwin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard. Carwin cracks Jackson with a solid left hand. Carwin with a nice head shot there. Carwin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Carwin postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow. Well,Jackson is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes? Carwin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carwin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carwin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jackson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Carwin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jackson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Carwin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carwin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carwin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jackson tries to lock up and control but Carwin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Carwin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jackson tries to buck Carwin off but he can't manage it. BOOM! Carwin connects with a massive shot to the dome!

And that's the end of the fight! Casey Carwin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Carwin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corncrab throws a head kick that misses. Corncrab keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kuukonen. Kuukonen misses the shot to the body. Kuukonen catches Corncrab with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Stanley Corncrab has been cut. Kuukonen misses with a series of wild punches.
Corncrab tries to close the distance and clinch but Kuukonen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Corncrab misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

You can see the frustration on Corncrab's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kuukonen's guard. Kuukonen misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Corncrab had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kuukonen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Corncrab Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kuukonen's back instead. Kuukonen looking very determined here, making life difficult for Corncrab.

That's going to slow Beastly down. Beastly scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Beastly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beastly. and Gracie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Swagger scores with a jab. Gracie ducks straight into an uppercut from Swagger and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Gracie maanges to regain guard straight away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swagger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Swagger decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gracie, up you get! Swagger ducks under a wild hook from Gracie. Swagger moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Gracie goes down! Can Swagger finish him!?
It looks like Aaron Gracie has been cut. Swagger won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Swagger! Gracie throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Swagger can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gracie wants to control the pace but Swagger is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Earl Lee Swagger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Aaron Gracie's cut. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Swagger throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gracie throws a right hand that Swagger ducks under and follows up with a left that Swagger also avoids with ease. Gracie looks for a takedown but Swagger sprawls well. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Swagger as he jumps to the side. Gracie misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gracie is out of range. Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Swagger which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie wants to clinch. Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Swagger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A clash of legs there as Gracie blocks the low kick. Gracie looks for a takedown but Swagger sprawls well. Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Earl Lee Swagger seems to be getting the better of the standup. Swagger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Swagger as Gracie shoots in. Gracie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Gracie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Swagger on the side of the head. Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Swagger swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Swagger won't be happy with that. Swagger prevents Gracie from moving into mount. Swagger is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Swagger sneaks out the side door and pushes Gracie away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Swagger throws a combination that misses and Gracie counters with a right hand to the body. Swagger misses with a looping right. Gracie misses the shot to the body. Aaron Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A big right from Swagger misses. Swagger drops his hands momentarily and Gracie takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Earl Lee Swagger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gracie throws a hook but Swagger avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Earl Lee Swagger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Swagger winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Puno is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Puno controlling from the top position. Nasos is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Puno slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Puno has an Americana. Nasos didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Puno is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Puno hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane throws a lazy right hand but Wood sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Wood misses the target. Wood waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Kane. Wood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kane. Wood catches Kane with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kane scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kane lands a nice shot that snaps Wood's head back.
Wood moves out of range as Kane strikes. Wood lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Wood is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kane. Kane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wood lands with a nice combination. Kane backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jigoro Kane has been cut. Wood misses with a straight right. Wood throws out a loose jab but Kane uses good head movement to avoid it. Kane ducks under a wild hook from Wood. Kane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wood. Wood uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kane. Wood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wood throws a hook but Kane blocks it. Kane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kane misses with a looping right. Kane staying out of range there. Kane lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kane. Wood fails to land with a series of punches.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kane throws a head kick but Wood moves out of range.

Kane cracks Wood with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wood falls to his knees and Kane doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
