Peto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Raymonds, pushing him back against the cage.
Raymonds throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Peto blocks it with crossed arms.
Raymonds throws a knee to the head but misses.
Raymonds misses with a knee strike.
Peto blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Raymonds using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Peto has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Peto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Peto closes the distance and pushes Raymonds back into the cage.

Peto breaks the clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Raymonds, right into the meat.
Raymonds throws a head kick that misses.
Raymonds throws a wild body kick that Peto sees coming a mile off.
Raymonds tries a head kick but it misses.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Peto knocks Raymonds out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kenzie has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Smith clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Smith defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Kenzie is trying to stick to Smith's back but Smith is turning into Kenzie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kenzie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Smith.

Smith is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kenzie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smith.

Kenzie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Kenzie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kenzie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smith swivels and escapes.

Kenzie rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kenzie's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Myhres misses with a jab, cross combination.
Myhres goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Yagan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Brantt Myhres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myhres tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Yagan is able to avoid easily.
Myhres fails to land with a series of punches.
Myhres throws a series of punches but Yagan moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Yagan or perhaps it was just good defense by Myhres which made him look bad.

Myhres dances in with a quick combination. Yagan is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Myhres snaps Yagan's head back. Yagan stumbles backwards against the cage. Myhres steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Yagan's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Yagan just didn't come prepared.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Ligachev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Mondo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!
