1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wes Weddle! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Hoya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. De La Hoya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Weddle circles away quickly and effectively. Weddle shoots for a takedown but De La Hoya saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Weddle shoots in for a double leg but De La Hoya sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Weddle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oscar De La Hoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weddle shoots in looking for a takedown. De La Hoya tries to sprawl out of it but Weddle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De La Hoya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. De La Hoya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Weddle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Achilles here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Pavicevic looking for submissions off his back. Achilles is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pavicevic has hold of Achilles's hands but Achilles slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Achilles is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

He's pushed Achilles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pavicevic throws a combination that misses so Achilles counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Achilles forces his way into half guard. Pavicevic looks like he's trying to stand up.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pavicevic wants to get back to his feet. Achilles wants to work for an arm triangle but Pavicevic is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Pavicevic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Achilles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Georges Achilles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pavicevic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Achilles shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pavicevic as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pavicevic lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

And that's the end of the fight! Georges Achilles showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Achilles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Nice sprawl there from Experiment V as jensen shoots in. jensen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Experiment V tries to avoid it but jensen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Experiment V to the ground. Experiment V escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
