The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a body punch but Hill moves out of range.
Jones lunges at Hill with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hill's hand.

It looks like Billy Hill has been cut.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones tries to clinch but Hill moves out of range.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Hill misses with a leg kick.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hill backs up against the cage.
A good leg kick by Jones.
Hill connects with a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hill as he avoids it easily.
Hill lands with a right hand.

Hill throws a front kick aimed at Jones's knee but Jones avoids it well.
Hill stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick.

Hill waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Jones. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Jones to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Hill wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hill is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hill's back instead.
Hill trying to get back to his feet but Jones is in full control for now.
Hill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jones has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hill has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
