The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Rimmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rimmer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smith napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Smith is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rimmer has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rimmer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Smith!
Smith can't escape the position.
Rimmer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rimmer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Smith's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
