The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter takes the fight into the clinch.
Goldberg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Carter manages to break the clinch.
Goldberg has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Goldberg there as he acknowledges the shot.

Goldberg bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Carter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Carter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Eyre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hartland moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hartland feints and as Eyre raises his hands in defense, Hartland changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Eyre has his foot on Hartland's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hartland works his way back into a safe position though.
Hartland wants to control from the top but Eyre keeps moving.

Eyre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hartland defends well.
