The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greene throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Young throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Greene. Young tries to work over Greene's front leg with a kick but Greene checks it. Young pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Young sizes up Greene with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Greene moves out of range of the body kick from Young.

Young really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Greene blocks the body kick.

Tanner Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good exchange - Young coming out on top. Young throws a sloppy head kick and Greene counters with a thumping low kick. Left hook, right uppercut from Young. Young walks forward, straight into a front kick from Greene. Greene wants to clinch.

Rosenburger shoots in but Davis avoids the takedown attempt easily. Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rosenburger circles away quickly and effectively. Left hook, right uppercut from Davis. Davis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rosenburger on the side of the head. Rosenburger fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Davis throws a series of strikes that have Rosenburger backpedaling.
Rosenburger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davis as he jumps to the side. Marcus Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Rosenburger. Davis throws a right hand that Rosenburger ducks under and follows up with a left that Rosenburger also avoids with ease. Rosenburger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davis's guard. Rosenburger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rosenburger lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davis's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huber fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Santos on the side of the head. Santos swats away the attempt to clinch by Huber. Santos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huber. Santos misses with a double jab.
Huber scores with a takedown into Santos's guard. Huber is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Santos is looking to stand up but Huber isn't so interested in that idea. Huber drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huber jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Santos wants to stand but Huber is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Huber gets to his feet. Santos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Huber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily. Huber fails to land the takedown. Jesus Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marshal Huber. Huber looks gassed! Santos lands with a thumping leg kick.
Huber misses with a straight left. Huber is looking to clinch but Santos is avoiding it.
Santos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Huber. Huber circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Santos throws a nice outside leg kick. Santos scores with a jab. Huber is looking to clinch. Huber has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Huber there as he acknowledges the shot. Good leg kick by Santos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A right-left combo lands from Santos. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Huber takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Huber ducks right into an uppercut from Santos. Huber takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A nice inside leg kick there by Santos. That's going to slow Huber down. Santos pushes Huber away with a front kick. Santos connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Santos jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
