The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Query is fending him off so far but Cook persists. Nope, Query circles away and we're back to standing. Cook shoots in but no luck this time. Cook drives through with a takedown into guard. Cook postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Query is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cook, into his guard. Cook is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cook looking to hit a scissor sweep but Query is one step ahead there. Query is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Query looking to pass the guard. Query decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Query throws a series of punches but Cook avoids them all with ease. Cook uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Query. Cook swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cook avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cook slips a straight right by Query. Cook walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Query swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cook counters with a single leg into guard. Query didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cook trying to control but Query is working from the bottom. Cook looking to sit in guard and control but Query gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cook has an active guard here but Query has managed to pass into half guard.
Cook looks gassed! Query is trying to control. Cook wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Cook trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Query manages to pass to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Query controlling the pace for now. Query with shots to the head and body - Cook looks very uncomfortable down there. Query in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Query trying to control but Cook is having none of it. Query tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook is trying desperately to improve position. Query landing strikes from the mount. Query prevents Cook from getting the reversal. Query looking to control but Cook is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A swing and a miss from Query. Query slaps away a takedown attempt from Cook, before circling back to the center of the mat. Query scores with a jab to the jaw. Oh, that's a big right hand from Query and Cook goes tumbling to the canvas! Query follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Cook is rocked! Query decides to return to a standing position. Cook is still on wobbly legs! Can Query finish him? Query throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cook seems to have recovered his senses. Query rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cook moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice takedown defense from Query. No joy for Cook on that attempt. Query misses with an uppercut. Cook is breathing heavily. Query loads up on a big right hand but Cook slips the punch. Cook moves out of range of the strikes. Query misses with a double jab.
Cook dives in and grabs Query's left leg, looking for a takedown. Query pushes down on Cook's head and hops out. Nate Query has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Cook.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Query scores with a decent looking hook. Cook will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Query drops Cook with a left right combo! Query follows him down to the ground into side control.
Cook is looking for a sweep. Query scoring with punches from side control. Cook is letting Query control him for a moment. Query stands up. Query connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Query listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Query connects with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cook slips under a jab. Cook needs to keep his hands up - Query had a free shot at his head there. Cook is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Query lands with a big left! Cook is wobbled badly! Query comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Cook to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Stiltzkin bounces back off the cage towards jackson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! jackson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! jackson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yomama misses with a looping left. Fife changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yomama tries to avoid it but Fife manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yomama to the ground. Yomama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fife looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fife stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yomama swivels though and keeps the full guard. Yomama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fife on the ground. Fife in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Yomama keeping full guard, as Fife tries to pass. Yomama can't keep his opponent in guard - Fife advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fife throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Yomama won't allow Fife to pass to mount. Fife thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fife tries to pass the half guard into mount. Yomama knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No luck for Fife with that takedown attempt. Fife shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yomama napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fife working the ground and pound. Yomama tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fife in side control, throwing shots but Yomama defends. Fife working the strikes but Yomama uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Yomama works his way to full guard. Good work. That was a close second round but I would say that Imgonna Yomama will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Barney Fife's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Yomama lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fife has Yomama pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yomama manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Fife is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Yomama landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Yomama tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fife swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fife keeps the fight on the outside. Fife shoots in but no luck this time. Imgonna Yomama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horrible takedown by Fife or perhaps it was just good defense by Yomama which made him look bad. Yomama cracks Fife with a good jab. A left lands for Yomama. Barney Fife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fife tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yomama sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fife somewhat. Yomama lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fife backs up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yomama throws a chopping leg kick but Fife manages to avoid taking any serious damage. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fife. Yomama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A left and a right from Yomama both land. Nice combination. Yomama misses with a double jab.

Yomama looks to throw the jab but Fife is out of range. Yomama stuffs the takedown attempt from Fife. Fife gets slowly back to his feet. Yomama takes the fight into the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sten throws a low kick, looking for Murpy's leg but Murpy calmly moves out of range. Murpy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A nice leg kick lands there from Sten. Murpy looks to throw the jab but Sten is out of range. Murpy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sten. Sten tries to clinch up but Murpy circles away and keeps his distance. A combination from Sten does no damage. Murpy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sten is trying to defend but Murpy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Murpy is keen to just control but Sten is a slippery customer. Murpy is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Sten has managed to free his arm - good work. Sten is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sten has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Murpy is working away from the top position though.

Murpy works his way into full mount! Sten looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. Murpy wants to finish this one by submission but Sten is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Murpy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Murpy wants to control the pace but Sten is squirming around nicely. Murpy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A close round but Charlie Murpy will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Murpy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jab from Sten. Murpy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gunther manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
