The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Gusto.
It looks like Ty Robinson has been cut. Robinson wants to clinch. Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gusto paws at him with a jab and circles away. A shot to de liver by Gusto. Beautiful body shot. Robinson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gusto misses with a two punch combination.
Gusto lands a big uppercut and Robinson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Robinson looks OK. Gusto waves Robinson back to his feet!
Robinson is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Gusto engages and cracks Robinson with a massive lead left hook - Robinson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Gusto is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Situu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Apollo's waist but Apollo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Situu off to one side. Apollo misses with a hook. Situu thows a body shot but no joy. Apollo moves into range and connects with a jab. Situu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Situu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sapini Situu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Apollo misses with a wild combination.
Situu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Situu lands with a kick to the temple. Apollo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Situu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sapini Situu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Apollo throws a sloppy head kick and Situu counters with a lovely straight right hand! Situu looks for the body kick but Apollo saw that one coming. Apollo misses with a combination
and Situu counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Apollo is lucky that one didn't land flush. Apollo misses with a straight right. Situu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Apollo misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Apollo tries to land a front kick but Situu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Situu doesn't manage to clinch there - Apollo circles away.
Situu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Situu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Situu misses with a hook. Apollo ducked under it nicely. Situu avoids the head kick by Apollo.
Situu takes the fight into the clinch. Apollo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Situu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Apollo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Apollo misses with a punch on the inside.
Apollo is trying to force a seperation but Situu has the dominant position. Situu blocks an elbow strike from Apollo.
Apollo letting Situu take a breather here. Apollo prevents the takedown attempt.
Situu is breathing heavily. Apollo throws a punch but it's blocked by Situu. Apollo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Apollo tries to circle away but Situu has him pinned against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Situu. Apollo misses with some punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Situu gets underhooks to prevent Apollo's takedown attempt.
Apollo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Apollo is trying to break the clinch but Situu is controlling him. Apollo misses with the head strike.
Apollo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Apollo scores with a nice hook to the head. Situu gets through Apollo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Apollo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Situu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Situu stops a takedown attempt from Apollo.

Situu has clasped his hands together around Apollo's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Situu working away. Apollo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Apollo moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Apollo throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Situu won't allow Apollo to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Situu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Apollo throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Situu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Apollo swivels though and keeps the full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Apollo is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Apollo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Apollo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Apollo preventing the sweep. Apollo trying to control but Situu is working from the bottom. Apollo throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Situu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Apollo defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Apollo tries to free his leg and advance position but Situu is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Situu rushes Apollo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Apollo is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Apollo is trying to break the clinch but Situu is controlling him. Situu works on Apollo's body with a couple of short punches. Situu is leaning against Apollo and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Apollo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Situu pulls him back up using the underhooks. Situu gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Apollo is adopting a defensive guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Situu trying to control but Apollo is working from the bottom. Apollo looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sapini Situu will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sapini Situu's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A big left from Apollo misses. Apollo throws a jab when Situu was well out of range. Apollo misses with a series of wild punches.
Apollo takes a swing at Situu's ribcage but misses. Apollo avoids the head kick by Situu.
Situu slips under a jab. Apollo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Situu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Nice straight punches there by Apollo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Apollo. Apollo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Apollo scores with a one two! Situu had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Apollo throws a sloppy head kick and Situu counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Apollo is lucky that one didn't land flush.
It looks like Rex Apollo has been cut. Apollo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Situu on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Situu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Situu blocks the body kick.
Apollo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Situu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Apollo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Apollo cracks Situu with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Apollo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Situu to stand back up! Oh Situu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Apollo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Apollo throws a sloppy head kick and Situu moves out of range easily. Apollo lands a big shot that drops Situu! Can he finish him?
Apollo pushes down on Situu's leg and manages to get into half guard. Apollo thows a huge punch but Situu dodges it nicely.
Apollo throwing shots but Situu is blocking nicely. Situu seems to have got his legs back now. Apollo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Situu is refusing to be controlled, as Apollo sits in half guard. Apollo trying to pass the guard but Situu defending well. Apollo trying to control from half guard but Situu is working away.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Situu gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Apollo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Situu moves away from the strike by Apollo. Situu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Apollo looks to score with a jab to the body but Situu is just out of range. Apollo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Situu. Apollo stalks Situu and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Situu's face. Situu staggers backwards, shaken. Apollo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Situu looks up at the clock. Bad move! Apollo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Situu. Apollo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Dunstan throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dunstan throws a series of punches but King moves out of range. Dunstan ducks under a wild hook from King. Dunstan tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance. Dunstan moves into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Dunstan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dunstan blocks a body shot from King. Dunstan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. King can't find room to land a body shot as Dunstan controls the action.
Dunstan has had enough of the clinch but King keeps him there for the moment. Dunstan is trying to break free. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunstan is trying to break the clinch but King is controlling him. King wants a takedown but no success here.

King gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dunstan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A cross from King lands. Dunstan misses with a two punch combination.

King lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Dunstan is breathing heavily. King bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dunstan's head.
It looks like Gavin Dunstan has been cut. King dances in with a quick combination. Dunstan is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from King snaps Dunstan's head back. Dunstan stumbles backwards against the cage. King steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dunstan's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dunstan just didn't come prepared.

He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Martin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hautala throws a head kick that misses. Hautala blocks a jab. Hautala scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A jab-cross combination lands for Hautala and sends Buzzo crashing to the mat! Hautala follows him down to the mat - Buzzo regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Buzzo is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hautala working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Buzzo is still in real trouble! Can Hautala finish him? Buzzo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hautala jumps into side control! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Buzzo can do anything to dispel that myth. Hautala controlling from side mount. Hautala decides to stand back up. Hautala steps back and let's Buzzo get back to his feet. Buzzo seems to have recovered his senses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hautala. Buzzo shrugs it off though. Buzzo looks gassed! Hautala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick by Hautala - that's a beauty! Buzzo is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hautala can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Horrible takedown by Taps or perhaps it was just good defense by Volkoff which made him look bad. Taps misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Volkoff throws a left that rocks Taps and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Volkoff dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Taps regain composure!
