1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Rouge! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ranger moves in looking to clinch but Rouge pushes him off. Rouge slips a jab and a cross from Ranger.
Ranger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ranger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fight stays on the outside here - Ranger looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ranger gets caught flat footed, as Rouge shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ranger working a defensive guard here.
Ranger wants to stand and escape but Rouge is having none of it. Ranger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rouge controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rouge stands and throws Ranger's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rouge lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Rouge creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Rouge working the head with strikes. Ranger is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rouge connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ranger some visible discomfort.
Ranger tries to bench press Rouge off him but Rouge keeps the position. Rouge scoring with punches from side control. Rouge thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ranger takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ranger tries to buck Rouge off but Rouge is having none of it. Rouge scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ranger to see if he's OK. Ranger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rouge wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rouge grinds an elbow into Ranger's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ranger is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ranger is breathing heavily. Rouge moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rouge's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Ranger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rouge wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ranger can't do much from the bottom here. Rouge lands a few punches from side control. Check out the look on Rouge's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rouge is looking to take a break and control but Ranger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rouge scoring with punches from side control. Ranger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rouge wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Rouge has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rouge in side control lands a decent elbow. Ranger regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ranger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rouge is working away from the top position though. Rouge controlling the pace. Ranger on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Rouge frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rouge tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ranger wants to hold on but Rouge pushes him away. The referee warns Ranger that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ranger is bucking up trying to escape but Rouge cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rouge fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ranger is working hard here to advance position. Rouge looking to control and managing it successfully. Ranger tries to reverse the position but Rouge maintains control. Rouge controlling the pace for now. Ranger can't escape the position.

Ranger swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Rouge landing strikes from the mount. A nice elbow there by Rouge. Rouge looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Rouge landing strikes, looking to finish! Ranger sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Rouge is keen to just control but Ranger is a slippery customer. Rouge prevents Ranger from improving his position. Ranger flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Rouge content to control rather than advance. Rouge looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Ranger is refusing to be controlled, as Rouge sits in half guard. Rouge sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ranger defending well though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rouge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ranger as he jumps to the side. Ranger closes the distance and clinches up with Rouge, looking for a takedown. Ranger pushes Rouge against the cage but Rouge circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rouge misses with a jab, cross combination.

Horrible takedown by Ranger or perhaps it was just good defense by Rouge which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nile Ranger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Ranger is looking to clinch. Rouge feints and as Ranger raises his hands in defense, Rouge changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ranger is trying to control the position but Rouge postures up. Rouge slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rouge makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rouge showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ranger looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Rouge slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ranger trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. And that's the end of the fight! Robert Rouge comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rouge has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Marshall counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Hill looks gassed! Hill throws a right hand that Marshall ducks under and follows up with a left that Marshall also avoids with ease. The fight stays on the outside here - Marshall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A low kick from Hill misses and Hill takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Hill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hill gets to his feet - Marshall follows without any prompting. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hill lunges at Marshall with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Marshall's hand.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hill looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hill looks to land a right hand but Marshall moved out of range. Hill has Marshall up against the cage in a clinch.

Hill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hill circles away from the clinch attempt.

Break stands up and we're back to a striking position. Break thows a body shot but no joy. Break misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Riddell.

Break looks to land a combination but Riddell avoids it well. Break stalks Riddell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Riddell's face. Riddell staggers backwards, shaken. Break has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Riddell finds it's way round the side to connect with Break's head.
