The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter Jr drops his hands momentarily and Bell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carter Jr - the referee stops the clock and Bell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carter Jr. Bell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Carter Jr is looking to clinch but Bell is avoiding it.
Carter Jr checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bell throws a right hand that Carter Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Carter Jr also avoids with ease.
Bell lands a really nice looking cross but Carter Jr seems unphased.
