The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cow looks to land a left hand but Thiago moved out of range nicely. Cow throws an overhand right that lands on Thiago's shoulder, as Thiago tries to avoid the shot. Cow defending well as Thiago loads up on a big left hand. Decent striking displayed by Cow there.
It looks like Mauricio Thiago has been cut. Cow throws a shot from downtown. Thiago moves away and avoids it. Thiago throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cow wants it to stay on the feet. Cow scores with a jab to the jaw. Cow lands a jab to the nose. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thiago tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thiago somewhat. Cow cracks Thiago with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Thiago tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cow pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Thiago is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mustard. Mustard gets a takedown into half guard. Mustard wants to control but Donk is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mustard sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Donk defending well though. Donk trying to control here.
Mustard thows a huge punch but Donk dodges it nicely.

Donk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mustard defends well. Donk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Mustard stalling away here and it's allowed Donk to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Mustard is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Donk keeping full guard, as Mustard tries to pass. Donk working for a triangle but Mustard defends it easily.
Donk is breathing heavily. Mustard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mustard works over Donk with some ground and pound from guard. Donk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mustard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Donk is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mustard has escaped the position, nice work there. Donk goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mustard rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Donk's guard! Nice work there by Mustard!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogan gets caught flat footed, as Isaksen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Isaksen wants to pass the guard but Rogan is keeping the position. Isaksen showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rogan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Isaksen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rogan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Isaksen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Isaksen cracks Rogan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Rogan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Isaksen lunges at Rogan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rogan's hand. Rogan throws a right and a left that both miss. Rogan takes a jab right on the kisser.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rogan is desperately trying to improve his position but Isaksen has a good base and remains in mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kjartan Isaksen just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rogan misses with a combination
and Isaksen counters with a two punch combo. Isaksen misses with a looping right. Isaksen scores with the left hand. Rogan knows he should have avoided that one. Isaksen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rogan on the side of the head. Rogan avoids the body shot from Isaksen.
Rogan moves forwards but Isaksen connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rogan walks into a left hand. Kjartan Isaksen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rogan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Isaksen stalks Rogan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rogan's face. Rogan staggers backwards, shaken.

Rogan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Isaksen's head. Isaksen lands a jab to the nose. Isaksen lands a nice looking body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scifo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scifo wants it to stay on the feet. Candy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Scifo circles away. Scifo throws a right and a left that both miss. Scifo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Candy attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Candy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Scifo misses with a hook. Scifo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Candy. Candy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Candy slips under a jab from Scifo. Candy fails with a takedown attempt. Randy Scifo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Van Candy. Candy swats away the attempt to clinch by Scifo. Scifo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Candy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scifo was covering up waiting for the punch and Candy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Scifo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Candy pushing down on Scifo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Candy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Scifo defending well though. Scifo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Candy. Scifo is trying to stand up here but Candy is controlling him well. Candy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Candy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Candy thows a huge punch but Scifo dodges it nicely.

Shadows ducks under a wild hook from Riddum. Riddum throws out a loose jab but Shadows uses good head movement to avoid it. Riddum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shadows lands with a nice combination. Riddum backs away looking to recover. Shadows rushes Riddum and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shadows softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Shadows escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Riddum gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Shadows counters by moving into the clinch. Shadows digs a right hand underneath Riddum's ribcage. Riddum let out a lung full of air as it connected. Riddum has Shadows pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shadows manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Shadows breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shadows lands a shoulder strike. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Shadows manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Shadows seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Riddum throws a big right hand that misses. Riddum forces his way into half guard. Riddum trying to control from half guard but Shadows is working away. Riddum uses his free foot to push down on Shadows's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shadows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riddum looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Riddum unloads with some shots from mount but Shadows bucks and avoids them well.
Shadows tries to buck Riddum off but he can't manage it. Riddum misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Shadows tries to hold on but Riddum pushes him away. Riddum is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Shadows has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Shadows wants to hold on but Riddum pushes him away. Riddum looking to ground and pound but Shadows is blocking nicely. Riddum goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Shadows is on top in guard.

Riddum wants to sweep here but Shadows controlling him for the moment. Riddum working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shadows doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shadows manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Riddum throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Shadows stays in close to Riddum's body and controls the position. Shadows postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Riddum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shadows is one step ahead there.

And that's the end of the fight! Matt Shadows comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Shadows has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
