Ramires's entrance music is Dropkick Murphys - The Gauntlet. A fine choice. Demetrius Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in for a takedown but Ramires shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramires takes the fight into the clinch. Silva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Heikki Ramires has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demetrius Silva. Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ramires gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ramires is pressed up against the cage. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ramires down to the mat. Ramires avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Silva looks gassed! Ramires closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Ramires getting side control. Ramires is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Silva! Ramires lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ramires working for a guillotine from mount but Silva is in no mood to give up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ramires has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Silva is forced to tap!

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateo Sobral! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobral closes the distance and clinches up with Tinkle, looking for a takedown. Sobral pushes Tinkle against the cage but Tinkle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tinkle scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tinkle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobral manages to avoid it. Sobral bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sobral goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tinkle has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sobral but great work by Tinkle. Tinkle takes a little break here. Sobral wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Tinkle stands up and we're back to a striking position. Sobral throws a right hand that Tinkle ducks under and follows up with a left that Tinkle also avoids with ease. Sobral just misses with a punch to the body.

and Sobral counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tinkle's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sobral pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tinkle is keeping the position for now. Tinkle is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sobral advances position into side control! Sobral tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sobral has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sobral looks gassed! Tinkle regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sobral is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tinkle is just riding it out for now. Sobral eventually gives up the hold. Tinkle wants to improve his position but Sobral is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tinkle works his way to full guard. Good work. Sobral looking to pass the guard. Tinkle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sobral's guard. Sobral looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tinkle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sobral looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tinkle has picked Sobral up and slammed him! Sobral can't keep hold of the triangle and Tinkle manages to pass to side control! Tinkle controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sobral tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tinkle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tinkle decides to stand back up. Tinkle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Sobral walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Sobral tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nice body punch from Tinkle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tinkle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tinkle with a nice cross. Sobral walks into a straight right hand from Tinkle. Tinkle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sobral is rocked! Lotus Tinkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tinkle scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Sobral is still on wobbly legs! Can Tinkle finish him? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tinkle jabs at Sobral's body. Tinkle dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lotus Tinkle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tinkle drops Sobral with a beautiful combination! Sobral stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tinkle is looking for the KO! Tinkle lands with a right and another and another! Sobral is in big trouble! Tinkle lands again and this time it's lights out for Sobral! A quality knockout there for Tinkle.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rogan wants it to stay on the feet. Silva is breathing heavily. Rogan throws a jab when Silva was well out of range. Silva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rogan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rogan throws a big shot that misses. Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rogan. Silva has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Rogan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rogan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rogan throws a jab when Silva was well out of range. Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rogan lands a really nice looking cross but Silva seems unphased.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rogan pinned against the cage. Rogan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogan tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogan to the ground. Rogan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Rogan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rogan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Masakatsu Gomi! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomi throws a right and a left that both miss. Gomi misses the shot to the body. Jitsu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gomi lands with a nice body kick. Gomi misses with a straight left. Jitsu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Masakatsu Gomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gomi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jitsu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gomi stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Jitsu looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gomi is looking to slow Jitsu down with leg kicks. A slow jab from Gomi misses its intended target. Gomi moves into the clinch successfully.
A head punch on the inside from Gomi fails to land. Jitsu jumps guard and drags Gomi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi passes into half guard. Jitsu is refusing to be controlled, as Gomi sits in half guard. Jitsu looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jitsu is looking to improve his position.
Gomi uses his free foot to push down on Jitsu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jitsu. Jitsu tries to lock up and control but Gomi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gomi throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jitsu tries to hold on but Gomi pushes him away. Gomi is standing up, even though he is in mount. Gomi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jitsu momentarily.
Gomi motions for Jitsu to come forward. Gomi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gomi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gomi looks to clinch and Jitsu decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gomi's guard. Jitsu tries to free his leg and advance position but Gomi is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jitsu wants to control from the top but Gomi keeps moving. Gomi wants to sweep but no luck. Gomi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gomi keeping moving, preventing Jitsu from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu passes Gomi's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jitsu is keen to just control but Gomi is a slippery customer. Gomi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gomi looks gassed!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jitsu blocks a head kick by Gomi.
Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jitsu moves out of range as Gomi throws a body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gomi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jitsu tries to clinch but Gomi is having none of it. Jitsu fails in his attempt to clinch. Gomi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Gomi throws a quick inside leg kick. Gomi darts in and clinches Jitsu up against the cage. Gomi is working Jitsu over against the cage. Jitsu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gomi walks away with a smile on his face. Jitsu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gomi lands with a right hand. Gomi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jitsu. That did some damage! Gomi misses the shot to the body. Gomi throws a sloppy head kick and Jitsu moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masakatsu Gomi dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gomi is looking to score with low kicks. Gomi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jitsu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gomi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jitsu was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomi. Gomi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jitsu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gomi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Gomi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jitsu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Gomi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jitsu gets the takedown into side control. Jitsu is looking to take a break and control but Gomi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gomi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gomi is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi is pressing down on Jitsu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jitsu trying to control but Gomi is working from the bottom. Gomi wants to sweep but no luck. Gomi keeping full guard, as Jitsu tries to pass. Jitsu passes Gomi's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jitsu is working for an americana but Gomi has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Jitsu was thinking about the submission. Jitsu trying to control but Gomi is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jitsu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jitsu wants to control from the top but Gomi keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gomi is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Gomi tries a low kick but Jitsu avoids it. Jitsu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gomi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jitsu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jitsu checks a leg kick. Jitsu throws a sloppy head kick and Gomi moves out of range easily. Gomi cracks the inside of Jitsu's front leg. Jitsu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gomi has his hands on Jitsu's head, controlling the position. Gomi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Jitsu trying to control the position from guard on top but Gomi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gomi is trying to control the position but Jitsu postures up. Gomi wants to sweep here but Jitsu controlling him for the moment. Jitsu with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gomi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masakatsu Gomi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jitsu up against the cage. Gomi stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Jitsu fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jitsu fails to pull the fight into his guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lenny wants to stand up but Sabrol is controlling him. Lenny knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sabrol on the ground. Sabrol trying to control but Lenny is working from the bottom. Sabrol postures up.

Lenny remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sabrol will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Sabrol has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lenny's body.

Robins has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Jardine. Robins throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Jardine throws a leg kick but Robins sees it coming and checks it nicely. Robins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jardine preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Robins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jardine pushes Robins off and gets back to his feet. Robins misses with an uppercut. Robins misses with an attempted mid kick.
