The bell rings for round one and we are underway! stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Banderman swats him away and circles back towards the center. stone scores with a takedown into Banderman's guard. stone throws a strike but Banderman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Banderman throwing strikes but missing. Banderman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. stone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Banderman defends well. Banderman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banderman trying to control the position from guard on top but stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Banderman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Banderman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Banderman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. stone is looking to regain half guard here but Banderman keeps moving and retains side control. stone manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Banderman blocking the ground and pound attempt from stone. stone not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. stone is looking to advance position but Banderman won't allow it. Banderman manages to get to full guard.

Banderman wants to get back to his feet but stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Banderman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. stone with a flurry of punches that miss. stone throws and elbow that misses. Banderman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in stone's guard. Nice move by Banderman! stone working for a triangle but Banderman defends it easily.

There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. stone keeping moving, preventing Banderman from controlling successfully. Shepard avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Shepard gets in close and instigates a clinch. Shepard jumps guard but Damascus stands there with Shepard around his waist. Shepard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Hart counters with a series of strikes. Stinson will be more careful next time no doubt. Stinson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hart counters with a one-two to the body. Stinson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hart gets full guard. Stinson wants to stand but Hart has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Stinson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hart looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hart lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stinson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pattison checks a leg kick. Miller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pattison has time to react. A combination from Miller does no damage. Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Pattison sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Miller tries to clinch but Pattison moves out of range. A decent looking cross lands there for Miller. Pattison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pattison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pattison is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Miller is looking for a sweep. Pattison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Miller will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Ramos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gunderson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ramos really felt that one! A right-left combo lands from Ramos. Oh Gunderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Ramos lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Gunderson is looking to close the distance but Ramos sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Gunderson crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Gunderson is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Cordoba has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Hopachi covering up well under a series of strikes from Cordoba. Cordoba is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hopachi is defending well though. Cordoba let's go of the attempt for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cordoba is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Hopachi has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Cordoba looking for the RNC. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hopachi tries to roll but Cordoba sticks to his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Alejanrdo Cordoba showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cordoba has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
