I think ROBLES might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to WHO LET THE DOGS OUT. Davis has chosen House of Pain - Jump Around as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wave is trying to defend but Kane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wave is looking to control Kane's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wave avoid being mounted?
Wave moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wave has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kane has managed to get both his arms back between Wave's legs - danger averted.
Kane trying to control but Wave is working from the bottom.
Wave preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kane controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wave has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wave.

Kane bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wave's guard.

Wave is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kane defends well.
Wave is breathing heavily.
Wave is trying to hold Kane in close to prevent damage but Kane has managed to pass into half guard.

Kane is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kane seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Smif lands with an uppercut that bounces Phony off the cage and back into rage.

Phony bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smif's head backwards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smif throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Phony stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Phony smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Smif will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Phony is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
