Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emelianenko Fedor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, steven segal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
segal tries to clinch there but Fedor circles away.

segal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fedor was covering up waiting for the punch and segal finishes the takedown easily into guard.
segal connects with a couple of short punches.
Fedor wants to sweep here but segal controlling him for the moment.
segal wants to control from the top but Fedor keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

segal avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fedor keeping moving, preventing segal from controlling successfully.
segal postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
segal trying to control the position from guard on top but Fedor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fedor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but segal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

segal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fedor tries to avoid it but segal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fedor to the ground. Fedor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

segal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fedor swivels and escapes.

segal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fedor to the mat! Fedor manages to get full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
segal is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

segal closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fedor did well to prevent segal getting side control.
segal wants to free his trapped foot but Fedor is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Konn's entrance music is The Bloodhound Gang - Dirty Touch. A fine choice. Troy Freeton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Konn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Konn scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Freeton tries to kick Konn off but Konn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Konn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Freeton defends it well.

Konn wants to work for an arm triangle but Freeton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Konn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Freeton is just riding it out for now. Konn eventually gives up the hold.
Freeton tries to kick Konn off but Konn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Dingo clobbers Clowe with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dingo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Clowe has time to react.

Clowe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Dingo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
