8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pasi Koo! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fresco. Fresco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koo sprawls well. Koo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fresco gets slowly back to his feet. Koo misses with a leg kick and Fresco counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Pasi Koo has been cut. Fresco scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ground and pound from Fresco seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Fresco is trying to get an arm triangle but Koo is defending well. Fresco goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Koo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fresco's guard! Nice work there by Koo! Koo tries to stand but Fresco is controlling from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atreides circles away from the clinch attempt and Atreides counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Harfager darts in trying to clinch and Atreides counters with a nice uppercut. Atreides tries for a takedown but Harfager circles away easily and Harfager counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Atreides is lucky that one didn't land flush. Harald Harfager seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Atreides misses with a takedown attempt and Harfager counters with a low kick, right behind Atreides 's knee. Atreides gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Harfager cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leto Atreides. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harfager wants to clinch. Atreides shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Good leg kick by Hussein there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koski cracks a nice hook into Kuusisto's ribs. Koski moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
