Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Papi Lon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, roger mallao! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mallao tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lon counters with a nice uppercut. mallao lands a nice hook to Lon's body. Lon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in mallao's half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lon is controlling the pace.
mallao wants to improve his position but Lon is controlling well.
Lon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for mallao!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lon raining down hammerfists from mount. Lon lands with some strikes. mallao wants to hold on but Lon pushes him away. Lon throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lon biding his time, looking for the opening.
Lon is persistently looking for the submission but mallao is defending it well.

Lon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lon is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

mallao wants to get back to his feet. mallao trying to control the action but Lon just sinks the hooks in. Good control from Lon. Lon lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lon scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. mallao is looking for a way out. Lon controls the position. Lon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. mallao tries to escape the position.
Lon controls the position. Lon is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lon's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

mallao is looking for a sweep. Lon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lon is keen to just control but mallao is a slippery customer. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. mallao is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lon is working away from the top position though. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. mallao wants to get back to full guard. mallao is refusing to be controlled, as Lon sits in half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. mallao tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lon moves into the clinch. Lon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. mallao avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lon stops a takedown attempt from mallao.
mallao is working for takedown but Lon is calmly controlling the position for now. mallao wants a takedown but no success here.
Papi Lon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of roger mallao. mallao jumps guard but Lon stands there with mallao around his waist. mallao gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lon keeping moving, preventing mallao from controlling successfully. Lon kicks mallao off and gets to his feet. mallao tries to clinch but Lon is having none of it. mallao throws a nice head kick!

Lon tries to clinch up but mallao circles away and keeps his distance. mallao tries to clinch there but Lon circles away.
Lon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lon wants it to stay on the feet. mallao shoots in for a takedown but Lon shows good takedown defense. mallao scores with a nice strike. The fight stays on the outside here - mallao looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice body punch from mallao. Papi Lon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Nope, Lon circles away and we're back to standing. mallao throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A left and a right from mallao both land. Nice combination. mallao tries to close the distance and clinch but Lon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. mallao looks for a takedown but Lon sprawls well. mallao shoots in for a double leg but Lon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. mallao tries to clinch and Lon counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Papi Lon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. mallao is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lon throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for mallao because Lon loaded up on that one. Lon tries to control but mallao wriggling away. mallao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. mallao is looking to get to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! mallao wants to hold on but Lon pushes him away. roger mallao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Papi Lon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. mallao is squirming around, avoiding Lon's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Papi Lon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamamoto keeps the fight on the outside. Junior has closed the distance and engaged Yamamoto in a clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Ariel Junior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Junior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. A shot to the liver by Grimas. Beautiful body shot. A big left from Grimas misses. Grande misses the body punch and Grimas counters with a nice body shot. Grande throws a lazy uppercut
and Grimas counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grimas misses with a straight right. Grimas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Mucho Grande has been cut. Grande throws a predictable looking body shot
and Grimas counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Grande! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Grimas!

Bowron moves to clinch but Owen breaks away and Owen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Owen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bowron counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Owen moves into full guard.
Owen keeping moving, preventing Bowron from controlling successfully. Bowron with a flurry of punches that miss. Owen is looking to stand up but Bowron isn't so interested in that idea. Bowron slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Owen is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee asks Bowron politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bowron prefers to stall for the moment though. Owen pushes Bowron away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bowron gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Bowron tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bowron lands a nice forearm strike. Bowron is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Owen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bowron in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Bowron stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Owen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bowron wants to clinch and Owen counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bowron lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Owen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bowron has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Owen regains guard immediately. Bowron pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Owen is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ross Bowron dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Owen cracks Bowron with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Owen cracks Bowron with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Owen looking to secure an arm triangle but Bowron defends it well. Owen looking to finish with strikes here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowron is in all sorts of trouble here.
Owen content just to control the position here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Owen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bowron sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ross Bowron is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bowron avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Owen. Bowron keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bowron wants to control but Owen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bowron is refusing to be controlled, as Owen sits in half guard. Patrick Owen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Owen scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Ryan Bang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Couture takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice shot lands for Bang. Bang throws a one two combo.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Bang dominated that round. The cut man is working on Randy Couture's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jeez, Randy Couture's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bang ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bang scores with a jab to the body. Bang is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Randy Couture's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bad Azz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cole Konrad! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azz lands a really nice looking cross but Konrad seems unphased.
Azz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Cole Konrad has been cut. Azz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Konrad stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Konrad shoots in for a takedown but Azz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Azz works Konrad's body with a nice hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Konrad tries for a takedown but Azz circles away easily letting Azz counter with a right hand. Konrad looks gassed! Azz lands a jab. Konrad should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Azz lands with a nice body punch. Konrad doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Konrad takes a shot right to the bread basket. Oooooh!!! Azz has knocked Konrad down with a huge combo! Azz steps away and waves a wobbly Konrad back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Azz closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Konrad out cold! Konrad corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
