4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis wants to clinch and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Davis with a hook. A jab from Davis misses. Davis moves into the clinch. Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davis throws a right and a left that both miss. Davis slips a straight right by Jones. Davis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.
Davis misses with a double jab
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Davis moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Davis throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones. Davis wants to clinch. Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jones slips under a jab. Davis tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a nice body shot.

Jones looks to land a right hand but Davis moved out of range. Davis slips a jab from Jones. Davis throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones lunges at Davis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Davis's hand. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones lands an overhand right. Davis on the wrong end of a nice jab. Davis misses with a low kick as Jones jumps back. Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Davis. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Davis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sloppy strikes from Davis. Those never looked like landing. Davis misses the jab. Davis throws a one two combo.
Jones feints a jab promting Davis to slip. Jones then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Davis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Davis throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Jones counter with a right hand. Davis moves out of range as Jones strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Ishikawa. Ishikawa misses with a head kick.
Smart takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Smart takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smart stuffs the takedown. Ishikawa misses with a combination
letting Smart counter with a right hand. Ishikawa moves in looking to clinch but Smart pushes him off. Smart slips a jab from Ishikawa. Ishikawa throws a sloppy head kick and Smart moves out of range easily. Smart shoots and misses letting Ishikawa counter with a right hand. Smart gets tackled into the cage by Ishikawa. Ishikawa maintains the clinch. Ishikawa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Smart.
Smart tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Smart is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ishikawa is defending well for now. Smart avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Smart closes the distance and clinches. Ishikawa lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short uppercut from Smart. A nice glancing elbow lands by Ishikawa. Nice elbow from Ishikawa. Smart lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ishikawa backwards. Ishikawa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Smart is defending well for now. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Smart takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ishikawa lands an uppercut. Smart tries for a takedown. No joy.

Paul Smart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bushi Ishikawa. Ishikawa scores with a jab to the jaw. Ishikawa scores with a takedown into Smart's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ishikawa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Smart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ishikawa on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ishikawa looking to sit in guard and control but Smart gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ishikawa seems keen to control Smart's posture. Ishikawa wants to sweep but no luck. Smart wants to control from the top but Ishikawa keeps moving. Ishikawa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Smart. Smart trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Smart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ishikawa is looking for a triangle but Smart pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ishikawa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ishikawa is looking to stand up but Smart isn't so interested in that idea. Smart throwing strikes but missing. Smart has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Smart trying to control but Ishikawa is working from the bottom. Ishikawa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smart manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ishikawa postures up in Smart's guard and throws a big left but Smart blocks it. Ishikawa throws and elbow that misses. Smart uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ishikawa's guard. Nice move by Smart! Ishikawa managing to control the position. Ishikawa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ishikawa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ishikawa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ishikawa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bushi Ishikawa dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Smart tries to score a body lock takedown but Ishikawa shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ishikawa lands a nice elbow from the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Smart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ishikawa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Smart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ishikawa. Horrible takedown by Smart or perhaps it was just good defense by Ishikawa which made him look bad. Ishikawa cracks Smart with a good jab. Paul Smart is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Smart doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ishikawa counters with a nice uppercut.

Ishikawa cracks Smart with a good jab. Smart moves into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ishikawa prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ishikawa has a takedown stuffed. Paul Smart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ishikawa jabs Smart to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ishikawa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smart.

He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smart is defended easily by Ishikawa. Ishikawa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Ishikawa working the head and body with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ishikawa working Smart over with strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Ishikawa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bushi Ishikawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ishikawa taking a breather here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ishikawa working the strikes but Smart uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Ishikawa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ishikawa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smart does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ishikawa not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ishikawa thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Smart to regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ishikawa throws and elbow that misses. Smart uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ishikawa's guard. Nice move by Smart! Ishikawa is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ishikawa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smart manages to get himself to full guard.
Paul Smart has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Smart working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ishikawa. Ishikawa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ishikawa tries to free his leg and advance position but Smart is retaining full guard. Ishikawa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ishikawa content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ishikawa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ishikawa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ishikawa trying to control the position from guard on top but Smart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ishikawa pushes down on Smart's leg and manages to get into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ishikawa connects with a nice short shot to Smart's temple. Ground and pound from Ishikawa.
And that's the end of the fight! Bushi Ishikawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ishikawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Hurt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hurt wriggles free and stands up. Hurt lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That has opened up Pepe Negrete's cut even more. Negrete moves in looking to clinch but Hurt pushes him off. Hurt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Negrete shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Negrete was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hurt sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Hurt is trying to stand up here but Negrete is controlling him well. Negrete is trying to control the action in half guard but Hurt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Negrete postures up in Hurt's guard and throws a big left but Hurt blocks it. Negrete really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hurt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hurt kicks Negrete off and gets to his feet. Negrete is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pepe Negrete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hurt throws a series of punches but Negrete moves out of range. Hurt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hurt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hurt's guard. Negrete looking to pass the guard. Negrete must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hurt scores with a short punch from the bottom. Hurt lands a decent shot there. Negrete throws a big right hand that misses. Hurt keeping moving, preventing Negrete from controlling successfully. Negrete stands up over Hurt, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hurt throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

It looks like Andrew Jericho has been cut. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Jericho tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jericho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jericho darts in trying to clinch and Jericho takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jericho fails with the takedown. He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Jericho closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jericho sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Jericho tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jericho looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet! Jericho circles away from the clinch attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marciano throws a series of punches but Pedersen avoids them all with ease. Tommy Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Marciano. Marciano misses with a shot to the body and Pedersen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Pedersen drops his hands momentarily and Marciano takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Marciano throws a combination that misses and Pedersen counters with a nice uppercut. Pedersen lands with a straight right. Marciano didn't see that one coming. Pedersen slips a jab and a cross from Marciano.
