Mizajasi comes to the cage accompanied by target=blank>wild boys. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ivanov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ivanov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Simpson.

Simpson throws a right and a left that Ivanov avoids nicely.
Simpson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Simpson from any more punishment! Simpson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Boyd lands a nice hook to Guidry's body. Guidry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Guidry stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boyd.
Guidry blocks a head kick by Boyd.
Rice Boyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyd lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Guidry is looking to close the distance but Boyd sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Guidry crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Guidry is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
