Gullit kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is We Will Rock You!. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johan St Christopher was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Christopher scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Ruud Gullit has been cut. Johan St Christopher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gullit misses with a head kick.
Good shot there by Gullit. Gullit fails miserably with a takedown attempt. No joy there for St Christopher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

St Christopher wants to stand but Gullit is controlling the position. Gullit trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. St Christopher pulls Gullit in to control the position. Gullit looking to sit in guard and control but St Christopher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gullit wants to get back to his feet but St Christopher is in a dominant position and won't allow it. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gullit here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Gullit swings widly with a right hand
and St Christopher counters with a left and a right that stings Gullit. Gullit keeps the fight on the outside. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. St Christopher fails to land with a series of punches.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Johan St Christopher. Well Gullit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rosso tries to close the distance and clinch up but Suvanto swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rosso tries to land a front kick but Suvanto steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Suvanto lands with a kick to the ribs.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Suvanto! Rosso is out on his feet! Suvanto rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rosso is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rosso is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fedor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. An inside leg kick lands from James. Rick James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. James fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fedor. That's two minutes gone in the round. James throws a lazy right hand but Fedor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A chopping leg kick lands by James. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. James works over Fedor's head and body with a nice combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick James showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Spliffs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Han swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Spliffs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Han misses with a shot to the body and Spliffs counters with a right hand to the body. Spliffs lands with an overhand left. Han throws a lazy uppercut
and Spliffs counters with a leg kick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Han. Han is breathing heavily. A lazy left from Spliffs finds it's target. Spliffs jabs Han to the body, keeping him at a distance. Han misses with a right hand and Spliffs counters with a good low kick that Han was not able to check. Spliffs lands an overhand right.

Han topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Spliffs dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Spliffs!

This has been an exciting period of action! Dale throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Green uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dale.

and Dale scores with a counter punch that sends Green to the canvas! Dale smells blood - he's punishing Green with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Green has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
