Washington chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jones.
Jones avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Washington throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jones counters with a good low kick that Washington was not able to check.

Andre Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Washington. That did some damage!

Jones feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Washington collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Burell wants to work for an arm triangle but Michaels is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Michaels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Burell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Michaels doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Burell.

Rubiera throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
George Steele seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Rubiera attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Rubiera throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Steele cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Edilson Rubiera's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Rubiera has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Steele finds it's way round the side to connect with Rubiera's head.
Steele digs a good body shot into Rubiera's ribs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steele lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Steele ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Steele lands a big right hand that sends Rubiera crashing to the mat! Steele stays standing though and waves Rubiera back to his feet!
Oh Rubiera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steele fails to land with a series of punches.

Rubiera seems to have got his legs back now.

Steele drops Rubiera with a straight right hand, right on the button! Steele follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
