The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson with a hook. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henderson moves away. Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diaz as he avoids it easily. Henderson lands with a right hand. Henderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diaz.
Joe Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henderson lands a jab to the nose. Diaz throws a shot from downtown. Henderson moves away and avoids it. Henderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diaz. Diaz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Henderson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Henderson tries to get to full guard but Diaz has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Henderson doesn't have the hooks in and Diaz manages to turn into his guard.

Henderson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Diaz working some strikes from top position. Henderson is looking for a triangle but Diaz pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz is working Henderson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Henderson striking off his back but it's not causing Diaz any problems. Diaz works over Henderson with some ground and pound from guard. Diaz looking to pass the guard. Diaz scoring with some ground and pound. Henderson keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully.

Henderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss. Henderson tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Henderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Diaz throws out a loose jab but Henderson uses good head movement to avoid it. Diaz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Henderson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Diaz swinging wilding here.
Henderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diaz manages to avoid it. Henderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Henderson looks to land a combination. Diaz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Henderson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henderson sprawls well. Henderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.

Diaz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Henderson has just dragged him back down to the mat. Diaz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Diaz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Diaz is pressing down on Henderson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Henderson postures up in Diaz's guard and throws a big left but Diaz blocks it. Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

A combination from Major does no damage. Karski moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Stephan Major seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Karski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Major tries to avoid it but Karski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Major to the ground. Major escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Karski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Karski moves into range and clinches up with Major. Karski looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Przemek Karski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Major throws a series of punches but Karski moves out of range. Major will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No joy there for Major, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Major lands a jab-cross combination. Major throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Karski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Major did well to prevent Karski getting side control. Major looks gassed! Karski uses his free foot to push down on Major's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Major.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Karski quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Karski but it's paid off an Major is forced to tap! Nice work by Karski.

Sikora is bucking up trying to escape but Maples cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Maples raining down shots from the mount!
Sikora is rocked! A big strike lands for Maples! That's really hurt Sikora and he's turned his back - Maples keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Maples Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Pie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sliskovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sliskovic. Pie lands with a cross. Sliskovic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pie as he jumps to the side. Sliskovic is breathing heavily. Pie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A swing and a miss from Pie. Pie lands with a nice body punch. Pie lands a left and a right that send Sliskovic crashing to the mat, dazed. Pie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Blaz Sliskovic has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Pie lands a brutal uppercut that launches Sliskovic off his feet! Sliskovic tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ewing shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marciano pinned against the cage. Marciano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Marciano tries a head kick but it misses.
Marciano lands with an overhand left. Marciano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No joy there for Ewing, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ewing takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ewing is breathing heavily. Marciano cracks a nice hook into Ewing's ribs. Marciano lands a nice hook to Ewing's body. Ewing takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Marciano sizes up Ewing with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Marciano has cracked Ewing with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Marciano lands another huge swinging hook and Ewing tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ewing, before Marciano can land any more shots!

Cristos lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Cristos cracks Avelli with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Cristos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Avelli's hands. Avelli tries a head kick but it misses.

Cristos feints and then cracks Avelli's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Avelli down. Cristos connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slammo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Challa.
Challa looks to land a left hand but Slammo moved out of range nicely. Slammo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Slammo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Challa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Slammo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Challa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Slammo dodges the punch combination from Challa.

Challa jabs Slammo right on the nose. Slammo blinks but takes it well. T Challa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Challa throws a hook to the side of Slammo's head but Slammo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Slammo slips a straight right by Challa. Slammo moves forwards but Challa connects with a nice, crisp jab. T Challa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slammo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Challa swivels and escapes. Slammo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Challa.

A jab from Challa does it's job there. Challa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Slammo backs up against the cage.
Challa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slammo was well out of range. Poor timing from Challa. A combination from Challa does no damage. Challa throws an overhand right that lands on Slammo's shoulder, as Slammo tries to avoid the shot. Slammo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Challa but Challa pushes him off and we're back to square one. T Challa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darco Slammo. Slammo tries for a takedown but Challa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Challa scores with a punch to the head. Challa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Slammo to score an easy takedown into full guard. Slammo looks gassed! Challa tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Challa is looking to stand up but Slammo isn't so interested in that idea. Challa is trying to keep Slammo in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slammo looking to sit in guard and control but Challa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
T Challa dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Slammo throws a big right hand that misses. Challa wants to stand up but Slammo is controlling him. Slammo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Challa is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Challa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Challa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Challa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slammo moves away. Slammo fails with a takedown attempt. T Challa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darco Slammo. Slammo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Slammo lands a nice forearm strike. Slammo is putting a hurting on Challa here, landing some big shots from side control. Challa wants to get back to his feet but Slammo drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slammo tries to move to mount but Challa blocks the move with his legs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Challa manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Challa regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Slammo. Slammo wants to control from the top but Challa keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slammo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Slammo postures up in Challa's guard and throws a big left but Challa blocks it. Challa is adopting a defensive guard. Challa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Challa is working hard here to advance position. Challa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Slammo throws a looping overhand right but Challa ducks down to avoid it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slammo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Challa holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darco Slammo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Slammo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Challa tries to avoid it but Slammo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Challa to the ground. Challa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. T Challa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darco Slammo. Challa throws an overhand right that lands on Slammo's shoulder, as Slammo tries to avoid the shot. Challa lands with a shot to the body.

Slammo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Challa defends it nicely. Challa misses with a straight left. Slammo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Challa looks to land a combination but Slammo avoids it well. Challa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Slammo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Challa won't be happy with that. Slammo in side control, throwing shots but Challa defends. Slammo prevents Challa from escaping the position. Challa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slammo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Slammo in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slammo throwing shots but missing, from side control. Challa pushes Slammo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Slammo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Slammo cracks Challa with a big right hand but Challa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Challa avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Slammo. You can see the frustration on Challa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Slammo throws a strike aimed at the side of Challa's head but Challa avoids it well. Challa is pushing Slammo's head away, looking to escape. Slammo manages to hold on to the position though. Challa managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Slammo.

Ray is looking to clinch. Ray fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Paha manages to avoid it. Paha cracks Ray with a good jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paha lands a head shot. Paha keeps the fight on the outside. The fighters circling - Paha throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ray's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ray duly obliges. Paha lands a head kick!

Ray is rocked! Paha closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Ray out cold! Ray corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
