The bell rings for round one and we are underway! da Silva is looking to clinch but Dodger is avoiding it.
Dodger has taken the fight to the clinch.
da Silva effectively controlling the action here. da Silva is trying to drag Dodger to the mat but Dodger just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Dodger has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but da Silva regains guard immediately. Dodger stays in close to da Silva's body and controls the position. Dodger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dodger controls from within his opponent's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from StPierre. Boy throws a nice inside leg kick. A head kick misses from Boy. StPierre shoots for a double leg takedown but Boy sprawls well. He's pushed StPierre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Boy moves into the clinch. StPierre tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boy just stands there and leans against the cage. Balil Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George StPierre. Boy stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Boy for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. StPierre avoiding damage as Boy throws knees to the body.

Boy dips a shoulder and cracks StPierre with a mighty uppercut! StPierre falls back against the cage and Boy unloads with a barrage of strikes! StPierre is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Boy screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Flores tries to break the clinch but Lumotuffio is controlling the position. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lumotuffio as Flores tries to tie him up. A head punch on the inside from Lumotuffio fails to land. Flores is looking to break free of the clinch but Lumotuffio has double underhooks. Flores wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lumotuffio has him pressed against the cage. Lumotuffio has Flores pressed against the cage, preventing Flores from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lumotuffio looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Flores finds it's way through Lumotuffio's defenses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lumotuffio takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. This has been an exciting period of action! Flores drops Lumotuffio with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lumotuffio looks back up at him and smiles so Flores waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lumotuffio is rocked! Flores lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Lumotuffio up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Flores from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Lumotuffio's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Schnee Wittchen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wittchen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Wittchen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lafleur manages to avoid it. Wittchen moves into range and clinches up with Lafleur. Lafleur is working for takedown but Wittchen is calmly controlling the position for now. Wittchen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lafleur.

Powell pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Laperouge tumbling to the mat - Powell dives into Laperouge's guard. Low shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ishikawa pinned against the cage. Ishikawa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Low closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Low is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ishikawa gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Akira Ishikawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Low. Ishikawa wants to get back to striking at distance but Low won't allow it.
