Andrews complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Bornstein keeps the fight on the outside.
Sanches throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Sanches slips a jab from Bornstein.
Bornstein feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sanchess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sanches wants to clinch.
Bornstein lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Sanches falls backwards - clearly groggy! Bornstein dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong swats away the attempt to clinch by Matsumoto.

Matsumoto closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chong did well to prevent Matsumoto getting side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nice strikes from Matsumoto there.
Matsumoto is trying to control the action in half guard but Chong is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Matsumoto content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Matsumoto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Matsumoto missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Chong tries to roll over but Matsumoto keeps him under control.
Matsumoto lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Chong is trying to control but can't.
Chong blocking the ground and pound attempt from Matsumoto.
Matsumoto throwing shots but Chong is blocking nicely.
Matsumoto prevents Chong from improving his position.
Matsumoto sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chong defending well though.
Matsumoto thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Chong to regain full guard.
Chong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Chong wants to take a breather but Matsumoto is having none of it.

Matsumoto is looking for a sweep. Chong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chong takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Chong working the head and body with strikes.
Chong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Matsumoto keeps working.
Matsumoto is pressing down on Chong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Matsumoto is trying to control the position but Chong postures up.
Chong trying to control but Matsumoto is working from the bottom.

Matsumoto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Matsumoto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Matsumoto looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chong is defending well. Matsumoto quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chong has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Matsumoto celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
