These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Artemis tries for a takedown but Czartoryski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Artemis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Czartoryski instigates a clinch. Artemis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Czartoryski just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Artemis Artemis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Czartoryski manages to break the clinch.
Czartoryski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Artemis. Artemis is breathing heavily. Artemis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Artemis slips under a jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Artemis. Czartoryski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Artemis, pushing him back against the cage. Artemis with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Artemis is rocked! Czartoryski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oh Artemis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Artemis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evraerts looks for a takedown but Green sprawls well. Green's jab looks to have found its range, popping Evraerts under the eye. Green misses with a left hand and Evraerts counters with a low kick, right behind Green 's knee. Evraerts closes the distance and clinches up with Green, looking for a takedown. Evraerts pushes Green against the cage but Green circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Evraerts scores with a head kick. Green tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Evraerts tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Green fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Evraerts, pushing him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Evraerts swings away with an uppercut that misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jack works over S's head and body with a nice combination. A nice inside leg kick there by Jack. That's going to slow S down. S throws a head kick that misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Jack moves in looking to clinch but S pushes him off. S throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. S avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
S throws a head kick but Jack moves out of range.
Jack checks the leg kick. S moves out of range as Jack throws a body kick.
Jack lands the left hand. Jack is looking to clinch. S fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jack looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jack moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jack throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. S throws a sloppy head kick and Jack moves out of range easily. Jack fails in his attempt to clinch. S lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Samurai Jack has been cut. S misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jack wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. S swats away the attempt to clinch by Jack. S takes a kick to the side of the head. S takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jack stalks S and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into S's face. S staggers backwards, shaken. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! S tried to score with a low kick but Jack checks it.

Jack closes the distance but S moves to the side and S counters with a nice leg kick. S pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jack lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops S to his knees! Jack keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samurai Jack! Samurai Jack decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Cannonball sizes up Brisk with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Mav Brisk has been cut. Brisk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cannonball manages to avoid it. Sloppy strikes from Brisk. Those never looked like landing. Brisk darts in trying to clinch and Cannonball makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Brisk looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brisk throws out a loose jab but Cannonball uses good head movement to avoid it. Brisk avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sloppy strikes from Brisk. Those never looked like landing. Cannonball with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice uppercut there from Cannonball. Mav Brisk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brisk gets caught napping as Cannonball dives in and scores a takedown. Brisk manages to retain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cannonball is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mr Cannonball wasn't doing enough on the ground. Cannonball closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brisk to the mat! Brisk manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cannonball stands up over Brisk, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cannonball postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cannonball controls from within his opponent's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mr Cannonball. Cannonball drops Brisk with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brisk looks back up at him and smiles so Cannonball waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Cannonball shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brisk but Brisk pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cannonball circles away from the clinch attempt and Cannonball counters with a right hand to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Cannonball lands a really nice looking cross but Brisk seems unphased.
That has opened up Mav Brisk's cut even more. Brisk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cannonball swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brisk misses the shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cannonball drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cannonball throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Cannonball tries to advance to mount but Brisk denies him. Cannonball taking a breather here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brisk dodges the ground and pound from Cannonball. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Cannonball dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mav Brisk's cut. That's time! Cannonball's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cannonball walks into a stiff left hand from Brisk. Cannonball fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brisk on the side of the head. Brisk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cannonball manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nice uppercut there from Cannonball. Brisk tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cannonball holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Cannonball has clasped his hands together around Brisk's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brisk is letting Cannonball control him for a moment. Cannonball works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cannonball landing a few strikes. Sloppy strikes there by Cannonball. Cannonball throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Brisk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cannonball. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Brisk is looking for a sweep. Cannonball working the ground and pound.

Torque is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Russo asserts his dominance and retains side control. Russo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Torque keeps working. Russo working the head with strikes.

Torque is rocked! Russo breaks from Torque's wrist control and lands an elbow. Oh Torque is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Russo lands a big shot to the head and Torque winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
