The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Varvaskoukku shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. William is trying to defend but Varvaskoukku finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. William wants to improve his position but Varvaskoukku is controlling well.

William is looking to control Varvaskoukku's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can William avoid being mounted? Varvaskoukku is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. William is looking for a sweep. Varvaskoukku is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Varvaskoukku lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Varvaskoukku lands a nice short elbow. William is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Varvaskoukku wants to lay and pray for a moment but William keeps working. William tries to roll over but Varvaskoukku keeps him under control. William trying to control from the bottom.
William wants to get back to full guard. Varvaskoukku slips a nice elbow through William's hands, connecting with William's forehead. William gets full guard. William has his foot on Varvaskoukku's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Varvaskoukku works his way back into a safe position though. Varvaskoukku passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Varvaskoukku working the ground and pound from side control. Varvaskoukku scoring with punches and elbows. William takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Varvaskoukku looks up at the clock and then as William takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Varvaskoukku smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

William is rocked! A big shot lands for Varvaskoukku! That's hurt William! Will he recover? Varvaskoukku fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potkukelkka tries to clinch but Gutz moves out of range. Potkukelkka misses with a takedown attempt - Gutz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gutz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Potkukelkka. Gutz fails to land with a series of punches.
Gutz gets caught flat footed, as Potkukelkka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Potkukelkka preventing the sweep. Gutz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Potkukelkka slips nicely into half guard. Gutz is trying to maintain the position but Potkukelkka is very close to passing his half guard. Gutz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Potkukelkka is trying to control. Gutz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gutz is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potkukelkka is keen to just control but Gutz is a slippery customer. Gutz flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Potkukelkka moves into full mount! Gutz won't be happy about that! Potkukelkka trying to control but Gutz is having none of it. Gutz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gutz is squirming around, avoiding Potkukelkka's attempts to control the action. Potkukelkka controlling the position easily from mount. Potkukelkka with good strikes from the mount here! Gutz working to try and regain half guard.
Gutz reaches up to try and control the position but Potkukelkka seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gutz rolls and tries to escape and now Potkukelkka has his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Potkukelkka's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gutz holding on to Potkukelkka's left wrist, preventing the choke. Potkukelkka looking for the RNC. Potkukelkka trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Gutz wants to escape the position.
Potkukelkka is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Potkukelkka gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Potkukelkka gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Potkukelkka apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Gutz shoots in and bounces Potkukelkka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gutz looking to pass the guard.

Gutz lands a couple of elbows. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gutz throws and elbow that misses. Potkukelkka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gutz's guard. Nice move by Potkukelkka! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Potkukelkka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Potkukelkka slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Potkukelkka dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Potkukelkka moves out of range as Gutz strikes. Gutz shoots in and bounces Potkukelkka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Potkukelkka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Potkukelkka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gutz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Potkukelkka wants to pass to mount but Gutz is defending the position. Gutz is trying to control but can't.
Gutz is refusing to be controlled, as Potkukelkka sits in half guard. Gutz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Potkukelkka is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gutz is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Potkukelkka is controlling the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Potkukelkka slips a jab and a cross from Gutz.
Potkukelkka ducks under a wild hook from Gutz. Potkukelkka tries to clinch and Gutz counters with a shoot takedown. Potkukelkka fights it but they end up in guard. Gutz is looking to work some ground and pound but Potkukelkka has wrist control. Gutz wants to pass the guard but Potkukelkka is keeping the position. Gutz wants to control from the top but Potkukelkka keeps moving.

Potkukelkka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gutz defends well. Gutz passes Potkukelkka's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Gutz is nestled in close to Potkukelkka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Potkukelkka moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gutz with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potkukelkka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gutz. Gutz stands up over Potkukelkka, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Potkukelkka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gutz! Gutz wants to control but Potkukelkka is having none of it. Potkukelkka landing strikes from the mount and Gutz is in trouble! Potkukelkka scoring with strikes but Gutz is staying in there. Gutz blocking the ground and pound. Gutz is working to get back to half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jigoro Gutz will probably get the nod. That's time! Gutz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Potkukelkka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gutz's guard. Potkukelkka makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Potkukelkka looking to pass the guard. Potkukelkka advances position into side control! Potkukelkka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gutz keeps working. Gutz struggling a bit here.

Gutz wants to pass the guard but Potkukelkka is keeping the position. Potkukelkka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gutz defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gutz postures up.

Gutz trying to control the action but Potkukelkka is working from the bottom. Gutz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gutz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Potkukelkka in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Jigoro Gutz showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gutz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by McKinley. That's going to slow Abasov down. Abasov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Abasov misses with a takedown attempt and McKinley counters with a nice uppercut. McKinley dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Abasov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. McKinley connects with a right hand. Abasov shakes it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McKinley throws a nice inside leg kick. McKinley is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. McKinley scoring well with a low kick there.
Abasov is breathing heavily. Abasov shoots in for a takedown but McKinley shows good takedown defense. McKinley lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. McKinley lands with a cross. McKinley lands a big right hand that sends Abasov crashing to the mat! McKinley stays standing though and waves Abasov back to his feet!
Abasov is rocked! McKinley has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. McKinley is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Abasov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Abasov is out cold! McKinley holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

It looks like Tarmo Uusivirta has been cut. A swing and a miss from Uusivirta. Uusivirta thumps Ne with a low kick. Uusivirta is looking to chop away at Ne's legs. Uusivirta jabbing away but nothing is landing. Uusivirta throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ne thows a body shot but no joy. Ne smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Uusivirta comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Uusivirta scores with a jab. Ne acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Uusivirta tries to bum rush Ne with a series of wild strikes but Ne uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Uusivirta takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Ne lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Uusivirta backs up against the cage.
Uusivirta misses with a hook. Uusivirta attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ne waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Uusivirta. Uusivirta misses the jab. Ne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Uusivirta manages to avoid it. Uusivirta lands a nice shot that snaps Ne's head back.

Randi pushes Baddabing up against the cage in a clinch. Randi lands a right hand. Randi lands on the inside with an uppercut. Baddabing fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Randi lands a big right hand that sends Baddabing crashing to the mat! Randi stays standing though and waves Baddabing back to his feet!
Baddabing is rocked! Baddabing slips under a jab from Randi. Baddabing is still on wobbly legs! Can Randi finish him? Randi throws a hook to the side of Baddabing's head but Baddabing sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Baddabing seems to have recovered his senses. Baddabing fails with the takedown and Randi counters with a right hand from hell and Baddabing is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Myton looks to land a right hand but Ramos moved out of range. Myton throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Ramos misses the shot to the body. Ramos is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Myton can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rauta tries to clinch but Marciano is having none of it. Rauta motions for Marciano to come forward. Rauta throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Marciano connects with a single shot there. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Marciano lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad.
